Education is very important in our household. I don’t mean to be biased but my daughters are both very smart. They are 6 and 7 years old and have nearly perfect report cards. They both really enjoy reading, my youngest so much so that in Preschool she opted out of nap time to read with her teacher more. I have been completely blown away by how much our Amazon Echo Dot Kids Edition has helped my girls with their reading. Not only can they have stories read to them, but they can play educational learning games as well.
One of my goals of 2018 was to live stream more. I mainly stream on YouTube, but I do on Facebook once in a great while as well. When I started, I was totally lost. I didn’t know what equipment to use, and just used the stock mic and camera from my laptop. Now that I have tried out several different things and found what works best, I want to share them with you so you can top quality stream too!
My house is filled with smart devices that help us with every day tasks. Every single room, including my daughter’s rooms, have an Amazon device. So have several Echo Dots, two Echo Dot Kids Editions, and an Echo Plus. On New Year’s Eve night my family wrote down a list of our resolutions and posted up in the kitchen. Alexa has been a huge help so far in helping us stick to our resolutions. I think we might actually stick them all year thanks to her!

My husband and I are the type that always have the latest and greatest when it comes to technology. From our phones, to our televisions, to our audio systems. We are constantly upgrading because we want the best of the best. Well, the best sound system out there right now is easily the Bose system. They have a family of speakers and soundbars so that no matter what room in your house you are in, you will hear superior sound.
I don’t think I am alone in the thought that cable television is not long for this world. With so many options to stream, it just seems like the evolution of things. We have apps for nearly every channel where you can watch your favorite shows, listen to your favorite music, and even catch just about any sports game. And thanks to Google Chromecast (available at Best Buy!), streaming just got even easier!
I don’t know about you guys but I am one of those people that is always stressing. I worry about just about everything in my life. From the kids, to the dogs, to our home – I just can’t help it. So when we are away from the house, I am nervous that something might happen to it or our belongings. Luckily Momentum, the affordable and reliable home property monitoring solution, sent me a set of Cori HD Smart Home Security Cameras to try out!
In my line of work a versatile laptop that I can take with me anywhere is REALLY important. The HP Envy x360 is something that travels well, has a touch screen, and is perfect for well, just about anyone. Right now at Best Buy, through July 28th, you can save $100 on one. Trust me, this is a deal you want to take advantage of!
One thing that is very important in my line of work is a good computer. Especially one that you can take with you on the go. If you have been following my site for a while, then you know I travel often. I need a computer that is reliable and is easy to use while I am away. The work never ends for me and I am basically always on the clock. So I was really excited to learn about the Google Pixelbook – and the fact that I can save $100 on one at Best Buy from March 25th to April 7th!
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and so it is time to start brain storming about gifts. Candy and flowers seem to be the go-to for just about anyone, but does everyone really like that? For me personally, I am on a diet so candy is a no go, and flowers die too quickly in my mind. I put together some items that would make great gifts for the whole family.
