You may remember Nikki DeLoach as a child member of The Mickey Mouse Club, along with Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake, and Keri Russell! She stars in one of the fantastic celebrity YouTube PSAs promoting the Peanuts Rocks the Vote campaign! As a Peanuts Ambassador, I was lucky enough to get the chance to talk with her on the phone about the Peanuts Rock the Vote Campaign! I learned a lot about this campaign (and went right to the website with my daughters after getting off the phone).

Visiting Brazil, an earthquake hits and separates a family from their beloved cat, Purrball. Purrball’s mad dash leaves her lost in a jungle where she becomes fast friends with a very clever sloth named Burrball. The two quick-witted animals embark on a journey to find Darryl, the loving and loyal boy who longs for his adorable missing cat. Witty word rhythms and rich illustrations make Purrball Meets Burrball in Brazil an engaging read-aloud story. An alluring tale of friendship, family, ingenuity and persistence.

While in LA this past April I was lucky enough to screen Disney’s 100th Original Movie – Adventures In Babysitting. I loved the original from the 1980’s, which this movie is based off of, so I was really excited to be one of the first to see it. I must say, I really enjoyed it! There was a lot of laughing, a lot of nail biting action, and even a few heart warming moments. I do not want to give anything away but I will say be sure to tune in when it airs on The Disney Channel on June 24th. That just so happens to be my daughter’s 5th birthday and she is a HUGE Evie fan (Sofia Carson’s character in Descendants) so I know we will be tuning in. What a great birthday present for her!

I am a total Marvel Fan Girl, and if you haven’t figure that out yet, then you haven’t been paying a lot of attention to my site. So when I found out that one of my exclusive interviews in LA would be Anthony & Joe Russo, the directors of Captain America: Civil War (and Captain America: The Winter Soldier) I was beyond excited! These brothers will also be directing Avengers: Infinity War Parts I & II – which are movies I cannot wait for.

We got to see a little bit of Sharon Carter/Agent 13 in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and I thought Emily VanCamp played her well. I was excited to find out that we would be seeing much more of her in Captain America: Civil War. Captain America got to spend some time with her in this film – and they even shared a kiss. (I promise you that really isn’t a spoiler). So when I got to interview Emily VanCamp at the #CaptainAmericaEvent in LA, I debated asking her about “the kiss”.

The Real O’Neals is one of my favorite shows on TV right now. It airs on ABC Tuesday nights and is well worth a half hour of your time. It is hilarious and I love how they tackle real topics with humor. While in LA a couple weeks ago, I was able to watch two upcoming episodes (one of which is airing tonight) as well as chat with the cast and Executive Producers.

One of the funniest interviews I have ever done is hands down Paul Bettany who plays Vision in Captain America: Civil War. While in LA for the #CaptainAmericaEvent recently, I was lucky enough to meet with him and chat for about 20 minutes. The interview started with him walking in while singing and then immediately turning around because we didn’t cheer and clap loud enough. We tried it again and apparently passed the test because he sat down this time and was ready to talk with us. He asked us what he could do for us in a perfect J.A.R.V.I.S. voice and the fangirling started.

Many of you know that I grew up reading Marvel Comics – and I still read them to this day. One of my favorite characters has always been Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye. I don’t know what it is that drew me to him, but I have always loved him. Something about his character and how he grows despite tragedy I guess. So when Thor came out and we first saw Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, he immediately became one of my favorites from the movies. He really embodies Hawkeye perfectly and I cannot picture anyone else playing him.

ABC’s The Real O’Neals is one of my favorite shows on television right now. So when I found out that I would be sitting down with some of the cast as well as the executive producers while in LA for the #ABCTVEvent & #CaptainAmericaEvent, I was thrilled! This show is great because it mixes comedy with serious topics. The O’Neals are a Catholic family where the parents are getting divorced, one son is gay, one son is anorexic, and the daughter is a bit of a thief. They have their issues but they stick together and stand up for each other often.
