I have been waiting what seems like forever for the Avengers 4 trailer to drop. My theory was that it would drop on the same date as the Avengers: Infinity War trailer did last year, but alas that day came and went with nothing. When the trailer finally popped upon YouTube I could barely get the words out to intro my trailer reaction. I didn’t want to waste any time and watched it immediately. Then I watched it again. And again. And again.
Trailer
Well, we finally have a title for Avengers 4 – Endgame. I totally called that from the beginning and then had doubts. We see so much and so little at the same time. I need more, but I got just enough. The hype is real. The wait – so worth it. For a trailer that showed practically nothing, it showed so much.
My Reaction
Yea. I did NOT expect the tears to come. At all. They snuck right up on me. Iron Man is my boy. And having him hurt and dying from the start. Saying goodbye to his love. Nope. It got me. This trailer brought me right back to the place I was at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel ripped open old wounds and left me there, with my heart in my hand. Not knowing what to do. And all the tears came. All of them.
What Does This All Mean?
As I said before, this trailer gives us almost nothing – but so much at the same time. In one scene, we learn that Shuri is among the missing. Did she turn to dust or is she simply in hiding, working on a solution alone? We see Hawkeye as Ronin which YES! I was really hoping for this. I am a massive fan of Jeremy Renner and cannot wait to see him pull this off because I know he will. If he is Ronin this surely means his family has died. I am curious if his family disappeared in the snap heard ’round the world, or is this an alternate timeline? A different dimension? Was Black Widow there looking for this darker version of him? And did she kill his family in this timeline like she did in the comics? Because then I doubt he will be happy to see her….
Something else that seems obvious from this trailer, but not, is that we can only assume they go back in time. When Black Widow says “this is gonna work Steve” and he has a photo of Peggy…. I mean, it SEEMS like that is what they are doing. Or going to another timeline. Another dimension.
And is Scott Lang at the end there! How did he get out of the Quantum Realm? Goliath (as we asked Laurence Fishburne in our interview with him)? Ghost? Or is he a Skrull? Maybe? I mean, wishful thinking on my part but Secret Invasion and Dark Reign are my dream story lines to see on the big screen.
When Smallfoot came to theaters, my family really wanted to see it. Unfortunately we have a small theater in town and it was out within two weeks, so we never got the chance. When a copy of Smallfoot on blu-ray showed up at our door (thanks Warner Bros!), my girls literally did a dance around the room! They grabbed their yeti dolls, sat down in front of the TV, and asked if we could watch it. We did. And I am so glad because it teaches kids some great lessons.
Stand Up For What You Believe In
In Smallfoot a yeti sees a human, and most of the other yetis do not believe him. Most of the humans do not believe him that he saw a yeti. The yeti goes on a hunt to prove himself right. He stands up for what he believes in, and that is a really important lessons for kids to learn. Even if others laugh and you and make fun of you, you should stay true to yourself, and your thoughts.
Being different is OK. Yes the yeti is scared of the human and the human is scared of the yeti – because they are different. Perhaps they learn that being is different is OK in this movie? I refuse to give spoilers, but I think that is a good guess, don’t you?
Overall Thoughts
This is kid’s movie, more or less, so you know it is going to be predictable. I won’t give anything away, but just know that parents might figure out what is going to happen pretty easily. All that being said, I still really enjoyed this movie. The humor is there, and it is something I won’t mind watching again. Plus, it has some heart. I totally recommend this for families with kids until 13. They will love it!

Thank you to Universal Studios Hollywood for providing me with a ticket and Express Pass to enjoy the day at the park! All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
You might know this already, but I am a huge fan of Harry Potter. I have read the books several times now, and seen all of the movies multiple times as well. Recently, I introduced my daughters to the books and movies, and it is so much fun living it through their eyes. So when I got the chance to visit Universal Studios Hollywood, you know I was most excited about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! If you get the chance to visit (which you totally should!), here are 5 things you absolutely HAVE to do!
Hagrid’s motorcycle outside Flight of the Hippogriff
1. Ride Flight of the Hippogriff
This roller coaster is a ton of fun! It is fast, which I imagine is just like riding a real Hippogriff. It is a little short, which is my only complaint. But that just means the line moves really quickly and you can hop right on again if you wish!
2. Ride Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey
One of my all time favorite rides is Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey. Not only do you get to walk through Hogwarts, and see some of your favorite characters, as you wait in the queue. The ride itself is filled with things every Harry Potter fan will love. The Dementors are creepy – but amazingly detailed and awesome to see in person. I promise you, this ride is filled with thrills and you will love it!
Every treat you can imagine at Honeydukes!
3. Shop At Honeydukes
If you know me, you know I am a sweets girl. So shopping at Honeydukes is like a dream come true! From the Chocolate Frogs, to the Fizzing Whizzbees – every Harry Potter fan will be gawking to see these treats with their own two eyes! And then to taste them – pure heaven! Fans can also visit Zonko’s Joke Shop, Dervish and Banges, and more!
Treat yourself to a butterbeer – you won’t regret it!
4. Have a Butterbeer
You absolutely cannot visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter without tasting a butterbeer. They have regular and frozen and both are delicious. I personally prefer the non-frozen version, but I know most of my friends like the frozen. Either way, you can’t go wrong with a butterbeer! YUM!
Which wand will choose you?
5. Get A Wand At Ollivanders
If you are a Harry Potter fan like me, you know how important it is to have your very own wand. We have one for all four members of our family. When we aren’t visiting the Wizarding World, they are hanging up on the wall in my office. But when we go, we take them with us because they are interactive! YUP! Interactive – meaning there is all sorts of mischief you can get up to when visiting Universal Studios.
I can finally scream it from the rooftops – I WAS ON THE SET OF CAPTAIN MARVEL! Yes, you read that right. Trust me, the Marvel fan girl inside of me was freaking out. It has been so hard to keep this a secret and I cannot wait to give you guys all the details. The things that I saw, the things that I touched, the things that I witnessed… will all have to remain a secret for now. Sorry guys, all I can tell you is that I was there! But soon enough I will let you in on all the little details, so stay tuned! For now, let’s just watch this BRAND NEW Captain Marvel trailer reaction.
That trailer dropped last night and in case you couldn’t tell, it has me HYPED!!! She looks AMAZING. Her suit! And we finally see Chewie! I cannot wait for this movie. OMG, seriously. So many amazing things. Captain Marvel will be the first female superhero solo lead of a film, and it has been a long time coming. She is so badass and I have been a fan of hers for a very long time (way back when she was Ms. Marvel).
Just look at this poster and try to tell me Captain Marvel is not a complete badass. You can’t.

My husband and I are big coffee drinkers. We even have a coffee bar in our kitchen where we come up with all sorts of fun drinks. Because of that my daughters are always asking about the specialty drinks we make for ourselves. One of our daughter’s has actually started helping us make our lattes and cappuccinos. So when I first heard about the Creative Café Barista Bar from RoseArt I was thrilled! I knew this was something my girls would love – and now they can join our coffee talk!
Let the Creativity Flow
Of course, these drinks are totally coffee (and caffeine) free – so don’t worry about that. There is also no heat involved, making it totally kid safe. The Creative Café Barista Bar is all about kids finding their inner Barista and making customized coffee-free latte drinks – just like a barista does at their favorite local coffee shop! It comes with lots of different recipes to choose from – but creative kiddos can come up with their own.
Kids can create a specialty drink of their own in three simple steps – add flavor, froth, and then design with stencils! Just use milk or a milk alternative (we LOVE almond milk in our house) as a base and let the creativity flow from there. Get it, flow! Ha. Anyways, kids can use the powder that comes with the Barista Bar, or use their own powder or syrup from home. It is ridiculously easy to use – and my kids love it! Yes, I totally have fun playing with it too. And I swear my husband does but I promised him I wouldn’t tell.
Our Favorite Recipe
My girls instantly had a favorite recipe. And I have to admit, as soon as I saw it, I figured it would be! Chocolate Covered Strawberry. If I am being totally honest here, you know I tried it too – and it was DELICIOUS! It just might replace my coffee. Start by adding strawberry powder to the pitcher, then pour in the milk of your choice (we went with vanilla unsweetened almond milk), and stir. Set aside your strawberry mixture in a cup and pour some chocolate powder in to the pitcher. Add milk and froth. Pour the froth on to the strawberry mixture and you are done! Of course, you can a fun design with powder or sprinkles, or whatever you feel like. We chose sprinkles we had and it really put it over the top!
Looking for the perfect way to celebrate Disney Mickey Mouse’s 90th Anniversary? I know just how with these delicious DOLE® Recipes!
If you follow me on social media or have ever been to my site before than you know I love me some Mickey Mouse! My family and I are Disney Vacation Club members and so we travel to Walt Disney World two to three times a year. A few years ago we were actually at WDW for Mickey’s birthday and it was such a fun celebration! This year, for Mickey’s 90th Anniversary, and what better way to celebrate than with some delicious recipes from DOLE® and a gorgeous special edition Le Creuset Collection?
Just the Beginning
As you might already know, in 1928 Mickey Mouse made his Hollywood debut in Steamboat Willie. This is one of my all time favorite shorts of his. If you didn’t know, my husband was a sailor in the United States Navy (because of Donald Duck actually) and so we love Steamboat Willie. This short started it all, and I am so glad that it did. At 167 years old, DOLE® knows a thing or two about longevity as well. At the same time Mickey was being introduced to the world, 2,500 miles across the Pacific in Hawaii, James Drummond Dole was overseeing a 20,000-acre pineapple plantation that would grow into the world’s largest provider of fresh fruits and vegetables. Is that impressive or what?
Nine decades later, DOLE® and Disney come together to celebrate Mickey’s 90th anniversary with four months of activities. Over these few months, we are getting fresh takes on some iconic recipes as well as new dishes honoring a True Original and the two brands’ long collaborative friendship. It’s the culmination of DOLE®’s yearlong “Powering the Hero Within” (#DoleHero) initiative, an ambitious nutritious-eating alliance that marries DOLE® fruits, vegetables, and nutrition with the most popular Disney films and characters! You might remember I shared some Incredibles 2 inspired recipes a while back, which were part of this initiative.
Dole & Disney: The History
Launching October 15th and continuing through January 2019, the program presents 19 new Dole Mickey Mouse inspired recipes and how-to recipe videos [WILL ADD RECIPE HYPERLINKS WHEN LIVE] themed to different Mickey Mouse eras plus images of the True Original on tens of millions of DOLE® Bananas, Pineapples, packaged salads, and vegetables in U.S and Canadian supermarkets continentwide. My daughters always enjoy picking out vegetables and fruits that have their favorite characters on them, like Mickey. Hint, hint, parents – this is a great way to get your kids to eat healthy foods!
“Dole and Disney have a rich history of working together toward happier, healthier families, and encouraging kids of all ages to eat better and be more active,” said William Goldfield, Dole’s director of communications. “Since our relationship has always centered on the intersection of fun and food, we knew we wanted to celebrate Mickey’s 90th in a big way.”
Throw Mickey A Party
What better way to celebrate his 90th anniversary than throwing Mickey a birthday party! I don’t know about you guys but this mouse means a lot to me. Disney has been prominent throughout my life, and such an influence on myself and my family. My husband and I honeymooned at Walt Disney World, it means that much to us. So we have been planning on celebrating his big day at home for a while now, and thanks to DOLE® we now have the perfect recipes to help us do so! Recipes include Steamboat Willie Green Apple Waldorf, DOLE® Mushroom Rockefeller, and more.
All 19 original recipes, videos and other content will be available for free download on the DOLE® Pinterest page, so start planning your Mickey’s Birthday Celebration!

Disneyland provided me with a day pass to experience the parks. I purchased the max pass on my own. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
You guys probably already know that I am a Disney Vacation Club member. I have mastered the FastPass+ at Walt Disney World even getting 16 FastPasses over 3 parks in one day before. But Disneyland is a whole different animal. So when I first heard about the MaxPass (and the fact that is was only $10), well, I knew I had to try it out and see if it was worth it. Well, it is. Hands down. And here is why!
Easy To Use
Disney MaxPass is ridiculously easy to use. Much like the FastPass+ for Walt Disney World, you use an app to make your selections. You even purchase it through the app. Select the guests in your party and search for the ride and time you want. TIP: As soon as your scan your MaxPass, start searching for the next ride!
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpu_FRPH6VW/
Less Time Waiting in Line
Because of the Disney MaxPass, we pretty much just walked on every ride. I was only spending one day at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park so this allowed me to get a lot accomplished. My favorite rides were totally Mission Breakout and Incredicoaster. The new theme for that ride is amazing – AMAZING!
Unlimited Disney PhotoPass
Probably the best part about the Disney MaxPass is that you get unlimited PhotoPass access with it. How many times have you seen the BEST ride photo captured, but you don’t want to have to pay to purchase it? Well not only can you download every single ride photo with MaxPass, you also get the PhotoPass photo opps throughout the park. My friends and I had to get a few fun shots, and we were so happy they were included in the cost of the MaxPass. Like I said, worth it!
A Minor Cost
Disney MaxPass is only $10 per person per day. For a family of four like mine that is $40 per day, however, it is totally worth your time in line. Even if you are staying for a couple of days to enjoy the parks, I recommend purchasing it. The PhotoPass photos make it worth it alone, the short lines, just an extra perk!
Thank you to Disney & ABC for sending me out to LA for the Ralph Breaks the Internet Event! All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
Single Parents is easily one of the funniest new shows on television. From the first episode, I was totally hooked! The fact that they have an amazing ensemble of main cast members certainly helps. While in LA recently, I was so excited to have the opportunity to check out the Single Parents set, and get a tour from the executive producer Jason Winer and actor Jake Choi (who plays Miggy Park). It was so cool to be on the set of a show I watch religiously!
Jason Winer giving us some inside details on the set of Single Parents.
Stories from the Set
You know I immediately had to ask Jason about Pickles. If you have not been watching this show (first of all shame on you!), there is an episode where Pickles the Guinea Pig dies. I am an animal lover and just had to make sure that he was OK. I learned that while yes, the actor who portrays Pickles is alive and well, the fate of the Guinea Pig who this story was based on is not. Yep. A child really stepped on a Guinea Pig and killed him. How sad! This did make for a great episode though, so is it horrible to say I am glad it happened? Yea, it is. I take that back…maybe.
Executive Producer Jason Winer.
Something we learned on the set of Single Parents is just how much things have to moved around. Certain sets are used for several different things. For example, Poppy’s house is also Miggy’s house. This actually makes sense since they live in the same apartment building.

Meeting the Cast
While touring the set of the school playground area, the main cast members all came out for a photo opportunity with us! Brad Garrett, who plays Douglas Fogerty, was one of the first, and we discussed his role as Eeyore in Ralph Breaks The Internet. He has a very small, Easter Egg role (that we do see in the trailer). But it was super fun to chat with him briefly about it.
On the set with the cast of Single Parents!
When Taran Killam, who stars as Will Cooper, walked in, I am pretty sure I screamed out loud. I tried really hard not to, but I just could not help it. I’m a HUGE Saturday Night Live fan and think he is (and always will be) one of the best cast members. I had a moment to chat with him about SNL, and Pickles, and his chemistry with Tyler Wladis, who plays Graham D’Amato, so my life is complete now. Between that and meeting Nathan Fillion just hours before, I can die happy.
With Jake Choi on the set of Single Parents.
Photos of the Set
There were so many amazing things to check out on the set of Single Parents. Including lots of small details. We learned that Angie D’Amato’s home, who is played by Leighton Meester, is messy and cluttered on purpose. She is a very busy single mom, and that is likely how her life and home would be. Every little thing on set is done with a purpose.
Angie’s living room.A table in Angie’s house.The kitchen in Angie’s house is a mess, by design.Graham’s Bedroom.
Something I found super interesting is that the Fogerty home needs to have a ceiling for a very specific reason. With a lot of sets, a ceiling is never built. But Brad Garrett is so tall, that one needed to be one the set of his character’s house.

The Winebrary
Some of my favorite scenes take place in the Winebrary. Man, I wish we had one near me – I would practically live there! I mentioned the hilarious episode where Miggy cannot use a wine bottle opener to Jake while we were on set, and he let me know he actually used to be a bartender and that he never used that kind of opener. Fun fact, I am the WORST at using those openers too. For some reason I have a really hard time with them.
Tonight’s Episode
SINGLE PARENTS – “The Beast” – Will encourages Angie to rediscover her passion for heavy metal music by taking a guitar class, and in turn, Angie insists that Will get back in the field covering weather by driving both of them into a storm. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang explore their romantic passions as Douglas pursues his crush on Big Red with the help of Miggy, and Poppy feels an instant connection with a dreamy musician, on an all-new episode of “Single Parents,” WEDNESDAY, NOV. 28 (9:31-10:00 p.m. EST), on The ABC Television Network.
Thank you to Disney & ABC for sending me out to LA for the Ralph Breaks the Internet Event! All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
The Rookie is hands down one of my favorite new ABC TV shows, so when I found out that during the #RalphBreaksTheInternetEvent I would be checking out the set, I was thrilled! This may come as a surprise to you but as a total geek, I am a huge Nathan Fillion (who plays John Nolan in The Rookie) fan. Firefly anyone? Plus Castle was just…amazing! We were warned that we might not see him on set, but that we would be getting a set tour from Mercedes Mason (who plays Zoe Andersen), who I also adore. I loved her in Fear The Walking Dead but I had no idea how much fun she was. I discovered almost immediately she is snarky and loves pranks – my kind of girl!
Who We Saw
The entire cast was AMAZING! It seemed like they were genuinely excited to see us and show us around. Afton Williamson, who plays Talia Bishop, is the selfie QUEEN you guys. Seriously. She took the perfect selfies with all of us. Girl knows what she is doing! We also bumped in to Richard T. Jones, who plays Wade Grey. He was so sweet, despite Mercedes ragging on him whenever she spotted him. He was nice enough to stop and take some photos with us as well.

Then we turned the corner and who did we see, Nathan Fillion himself! I freaked out just a bit. He was super nice, and told us some inside information about the set, like which room gets the hottest to film in. Nathan even grabbed one of our phones and took a selfie with all of us. I am still getting over the shock of seeing him up close and personal – ladies, he looks flawless in person too!

Photos of The Set
It was kind of surreal walking around and seeing things from one of my favorite shows. I have been on sets before, but it never gets old. Especially when it is something you are really in to. We saw the offices, the holding cells (Mercedes joked that is where they put Nathan when he is getting hangry), and even the briefing room where they have all their meetings. Fun Fact: Nathan let us know that room gets really hot when filming because they have a LOT of lights they put in there.

I loved seeing all of the details on set, and couldn’t help but wonder how many things were inside jokes. Speaking of jokes, Mercedes Mason is quite the prankster. She showed us all sorts of things she does to mess with Richard. Poor Richard. She hides things in his desk, including a carton that says he smells like soup (and sits down to pee). We were all cracking up when she showed us!

Watching the Filming
Something that was really cool is that we were able to watch a scene being filmed. I cannot say much about it except that we saw Nathan in his element. He is a natural guys!

We watched on two television screens and passed around some headsets so that we could hear what was being said. I can’t wait to watch that episode when it airs!
