Scribblenauts Mega Pack Includes Awesome New Additions + A Giveaway!

I live in a house full of gamers, so we are turning on our gaming consoles nearly every single night. One of our favorite series has been the Scribblenauts games. My daughters love using their imaginations to create the silliest things – and I love seeing them use their imaginations. Earlier this week, the Scribblenauts Mega Pack was released. This is a new collection of two hit titles featuring upgraded versions of Scribblenauts Unlimited and Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. Why should you pick up this version? Because there is new content included for both titles of course!

Mama’s Geeky Must Have Video Games Series: Go Vacation for Nintendo Switch

We are a family of gamers and one of our favorite consoles is the Nintendo Switch. We are always looking for new games to play on it as a family. When a complimentary copy of Go Vacation arrived, we were all immediately excited. Just by looking at the case we could tell that this was going to be a TON of fun! We popped it in and have been playing it almost every day since. We even took it on our recent vacation to Walt Disney World to pass the time in the hotel.

FanGirl Friday top wii u games for kids

Top 10 Wii U Games For Kids (And Parents!)

You probably already know that the Smiths are a family of gamers. We own pretty much every console out there, and use them on a daily basis. My girls are 5 and 7 years old and their personal favorite is the Wii U. If we allowed them to play it all day, every day, they totally would. In fact there probably (definitely) have been days like that – don’t judge. I sat them down and asked them to pick out their favorite Wii U games to play so that I could share them with you. They narrowed them down to 10 and I have to say, I love all the games they chose too!

FanGirl Friday Mayhem - Cloak & Dagger

Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger: Who Is Mayhem? (Spoilers Ahead!) | #CloakAndDagger

The season finale of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger was last night and it blew me away. Full warning, this article has some minor spoilers. Minor meaning what I am going to touch on is a big deal – for Season 2. It will give away a character we lost in this episode and touch on a new one that was introduced. So if you have not seen this episode yet and want to go in to it completely in the dark, stop reading now. If not, keep on going.

FanGirl Friday Steven Universe

Spoiler Free Review: Steven Universe: The Heart of The Crystal Gems | #StevenUniverseDVD

My girls are getting a little older – they are 5 and 7 now. My husband and I know that it is only a matter of time before they are out of the house, so we have family time every night. We play games, but we also cuddle up and watch a show or two. One of our favorite series to watch is Steven Universe. It is something that the entire family can enjoy. It is appropriate for kids, but the plot is really entertaining to adults. We were excited to get an advance copy of the latest DVD, Steven Universe: The Heart of the Crystal Gems, and we binged it in just two days. Yes, it was that good.

How Ant-Man And The Wasp Built Me Up Only To Break Me Down Again (SPOILERS!) | #AntManAndTheWasp

WARNING: THIS ARTICLE IS FILLED WITH SPOILERS FROM ANT-MAN AND THE WASP! If you have not seen it and do not want any spoilers, please come back after you have seen the movie. Now that Ant-Man and The Wasp has been out for a week, let’s discuss it. This movie was brilliant, if you ask me. Filled with humor, exactly what I would want in an Ant-Man movie. But honestly, the girls take center stage in this one and kick some serious butt. And then, well, read on to see how Marvel built me back up after Infinity War with much needed humor, only to rip out a tiny piece of my soul during the mid-credit scene.

FanGirl Friday Michael Douglas Ant-Man and The Wasp Interview 2

Interview: Michael Douglas Couldn’t Wait To See Evangeline As The Wasp & More | #AntManAndTheWaspEvent

When we got our interview list of the Ant-Man and The Wasp press event, I was over the moon to see Michael Douglas on it. I love him as an actor anyways, but his performance as Hank Pym in the first Ant-Man was phenomenal. In the comics, Hank is one of my favorite heroes. Especially when he is dating Tigra but that is a whole other story that I don’t think we will ever see in the MCU. Then when I saw him in Ant-Man and The Wasp, well, he blew me away. Michael was all I could have expected and more in the interview room as well. Humble, super nice, and a genuine joy to talk with.

FanGirl Friday Paul Rudd Ant-Man and The Wasp

Paul Rudd Discusses Family, Friends, & Humor in this Ant-Man and The Wasp Interview | #AntManAndTheWaspEvent #AntManAndTheWasp

If you ask me, Paul Rudd is one of the funniest human beings on the face of the Earth. From the first moment I saw him in Clueless, I fell for him. I love a guy with humor, and he has it. Because I thought of him as such a comedian, it was hard for me to place him as Scott Lang when I first heard he would play him. I thought to myself this is going to either be really bad or really good – well Ant-Man is one of my top favorite Marvel movies, so I would say it was a success. Paul Rudd is the perfect Scott Lang, and so I was really excited to see him reprise the role in Ant-Man and The Wasp – and he did so perfectly (as a sidekick to The Wasp if you ask me). While in LA for the #AntManAndTheWaspEvent, I got to sit down with Paul Rudd and talk all about his role as Ant-Man. We all clapped when he walked in and he joined right in with us! It was a great start to one of my favorite interviews ever!

Disney John Ratzenberger Interview NFCC {ixar

10 Things I Learned About John Ratzenberger at Niagara Falls Comic Con | #Pixar #NFCC

While at Niagara Falls Comic Con this year, I was able to attend a panel with the one and only John Ratzenberger! Not did he play Cliff, one of my favorite characters on Cheers, he also voices many characters for Disney/Pixar. If you know anything about me, you know how much I love Disney and Pixar films, so this was a great experience. At the panel, I learned so much from him and about him.
