It is that time of year again! If you are like me, than you are already all done with your holiday shopping, but I know some of you might not have even started yet. I researched a lot while deciding what my girls would find under the tree on Christmas morning, and I wanted to pass along my research to you! This guide does contain affiliate links.
Starlink: Battle for Atlas

This game is perfect for tweens and teens. My 7 year old has been playing it non-stop since we purchased it, and has been telling all her friends about it! She loves the open world concept which allows her to challenge herself and it keeps her entertained for hours on end. Starlink is a contains environment that is safer for kids than other open world games which have unsafe interactions – something I always worry about with gaming. Craft your very own starship and travel seamlessly though exotic alien worlds. You can even invite a friend in on the fun with the two-player split-screen local co-op!
Each Starlink: Battle for Atlas Starter Pack includes a controller mount, which allows you to connect your starship and pilot your controller. Mix and match weapons, pilots, and starships and watch the seamless transition happen in-game. Starlink is available for XBOX ONE, Ps4, and Nintendo Switch – and can be purchased at Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Amazon. Recommended for children 7+ as some game content is mature in depth. Aquabeads

Itty Bitty Buggy – Kids HGG
My daughter is seven years old and has really been coming in to her own this year. Not only does she take dance lessons, she also attends art classes on the weekends, and plays basketball twice a week. My husband is her coach and she has been excited to take on the role of team captain. Nothing is official, of course, but she helps run the practices and really takes pride in it. She is one of only two girls on the team, and I love seeing her skills grow (and of course I love it when she blocks a shot from one of the boys!).
