Thank you to Disney for sending me out to LA for the Ralph Breaks the Internet Event! All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Ralph Breaks The Internet World Premiere

I hope you were following along this week as I attended the #RalphBreaksTheInternetEvent! It was so much fun! Not only did I learn a lot about the movie and do some really cool things (be sure to stay tuned for all the coverage!), I walked the red (although technically it was blue) carpet at the world premiere – and then hit up the after party. As you probably know, there is a Disney Princess scene in this movie (it is EVERYTHING!). Which means I was rubbing elbows with the princesses, and many more celebrities, at the after party.

    The Carpet

The carpets itself was really cool. It was buzzing with media, fans, and celebrities – and ALL the Disney Princesses! I immediately noticed a giant Ralph and Vanellope at the head of the carpet when I walked in – and a smile spread on my face. I love these characters, and have for a really long time, so that was awesome to see. Then I spotted Jack McBrayer, the voice of Fix-It Felix, and Jane Lynch (voice of Sergeant Calhoun) interviewing, and stood by to watch for a few minutes.

Honestly, I had my eye open for Mandy Moore, as I was Disney bounding as Rapunzel, but unfortunately, I never saw her. She was there though, and looking gorgeous as always. Just check out that photo! Her dress is stunning!

All of The Geekly Show girls were on this event and don’t worry, we got some great footage, so be on the lookout for that. We decided we needed to take a photo all together – and found the perfect spot! A photo opp at the end of the carpet with a really fun “who broke the internet” themed backdrop. We were getting ready to take our photo and guess who decided to jump in with us – Jack McBrayer – Fit-It-Felix himself! He is the nicest guy in the world. Seriously! He told us all we looked beautiful and that he loved our colors.

    The After Party

The movie was fantastic – I will have a full review coming up soon so stay tuned. I have only been to one after party before, for Avengers: Infinity War, so I was excited to find out we were invited to attend this one as well. My friend Amanda from Guide 4 Moms and I immediately spotted John C. Reilly, who is the voice of Ralph. He was nice enough to take a quick photo with us before grabbing some food and hanging with friends. He is in so many movies that I love like Stepbrothers and Chicago, and one of my favorite actors. We were lucky enough to snap a photo with Sarah Silverman as well, who voices Vanellope! She was super sweet and I loved that she was channeling her inner Vanellope in jeans and a sweatshirt!

Since we were surrounded by Princesses, I knew I have to get some photos with my favorites like Paige O’Hara who voices Belle, and Ming-Na Wen who not only voices Mulan, but is Agent May on Agents of SHIELD. But my absolute favorite moment of the night was getting to chat with Alan Tudyk. I love him so much and think he is extremely talented.

I actually had interviewed him before for Rogue One, but this time we got to chat a little bit one on one. He voices Ludo in Star Vs. The Forces of Evil, and I was so excited to talk to him about that character. Alan let me know he loves the character too – and then I told him my daughter was Ludo for Halloween & he said he couldn’t believe we made the costume ourselves for her! He shook my hand and said it was nice to meet me. Not to mention, Jennifer Hale, the voice of Cinderella in Ralph Breaks The Internet (and so many amazing video games like Mass Effect!) photo bombed our photo. It is now my profile picture on Facebook because I love it so much. Thank you to my girl Amy at As The Bunny Hops for capturing the moment!

This was easily one of the best nights of my life, tucked inside one of the best press events I have been to. I have so much more to share with you over the course of the next few weeks, including my spoiler free review, so please keep checking back. And be sure to take the whole family to see Ralph Breaks The Internet! I promise they will love it!

    About Ralph Breaks The Internet

In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” video-game bad guy Ralph and best friend Vanellope von Schweetz leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game, Sugar Rush. Their quest takes them to the vast, uncharted world of the internet where they rely on the citizens of the internet – the Netizens – to help navigate their way. Lending a virtual hand are Yesss, the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and Shank, a tough-as-nails driver from a gritty online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race, a place Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces – so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had.
