While I was not at New York Comic-Con this year, I did have feet on the ground! Thanks to Louise Sullivan from 3 Decades, 3 Kids for getting the inside scoop!

As always, New York Comic-Con was an excellent place to find some of our favorite Marvel content. From games, to TV, to collectibles, to movies, and of course, comic books – this was the place to be! Throughout the weekend, Marvel’s booth was stocked with plenty of cool posters, stickers, and buttons featuring characters like Spider-Man, Captain America, the Fantastic Four, and more. The central stage of the booth was also constantly buzzing with action: trailers and clips from the upcoming Marvel Rising animated series, special glimpses at Sony’s Into the Spider-Verse, live demos of Spider-Man on PS4, and to cap it all off, the major announcement of the new Lego Spider-Man movie!

Marvel Panels: Daredevil!
But their booth wasn’t the only place to catch some action involving Marvel’s heroes: we also got to see the cast of Daredevil speak at a quick panel at SyFy’s NYCC LIVE Stage. While there, stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and more discussed the dangers Matt Murdock faces in the show’s third season – and the exciting time they had filming it!

Wilson Bethel had a big reveal as well: he’ll be going toe to toe with Daredevil as his archenemy Bullseye! This panel was an absolute must-see for lovers of Netflix’s excellent Marvel slate, and particularly those who are super excited for the brand new season of Daredevil.

Contest of Champions
Finally, a trip through Marvel at NYCC wouldn’t be complete without a look at Contest of Champions. The mobile game had a strong showing this year, featuring tournaments, prizes, and of course, Howard the Duck. Fans of the fowl detective were also welcome to check out a cool display by Funko featuring Howard in his mech from the game, leading the charge among other battle-ready heroes.

There’s never a short supply of exciting things for Marvel lovers to see and do at NYCC, but this year was a particular treat – I can’t wait to see what’s in store for NYCC 2019!
