Why the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gaming Headset Makes the Perfect Holiday Gift for Gamers | #TurtleBeach
Something you probably know about me is that I am a gamer. I have been playing video games for over 25 years and am totally blown away by the progress and technological advances that have been made. I enjoy all types of games, but some of my favorites are shooters and RPGs. In order to fully experience these, I have always wanted to get a really good gaming headset. Thanks to Best Buy and Turtle Beach, I now have an incredible set – the Stealth 700 for PS4 Pro & PS4!
One game that I have been looking forward to since it was announced is Super Mario Odyssey. Knowing that it was coming out was one of the deciding factors on us getting the Nintendo Switch when we did. From the early trailers for this game, we could tell it would be fun for the whole family and an instant hit – and we were right! The game play and use of controllers is phenomenal – not to mention the story line. This game quickly became one of our favorites and I highly recommend it for any Nintendo fan!
10 Pokemon Items You NEED From GameStop & ThinkGeek’s Brand New EXCLUSIVE Pokemon Center! | #Pokemon #GameStop
The Smiths are a family of Pokemon fanatics! My husband and I have been playing the video games since we were young kids, and now we are getting our girls started on them as well. At least once a week, we play the Pokemon Trading Card game as a family, and we are constantly battling each other in Sun and Moon on our Nintendo DSes. Because we are such huge fans, we were THRILLED to learn that GameStop and ThinkGeek are launching an exclusive Pokemon Center at their store locations and online!
I have been a fan of South Park for years and years. I was a young teenager when I started watching it and it is kind of something I grew up watching. I remember when the movie came out and my friends and I went to see it in theaters – ten times! I don’t watch it religiously anymore, but I will watch an episode here and there. I enjoyed the first UbiSoft South Park game, The Stick of Truth, so I was really excited to receive a copy of The Fractured But Whole.
It is no secret that the Smith family is a family of gamers. Yes, we are a busy bunch with lots of extracurricular activities like basketball and volunteering – but we always make time for gaming. Something you may not know about my daughters is that this is their third and fourth year of dance classes. It is something they look forward to every year. So when they can combine their passion for dance, and their love of video games, they are two happy girls. That is where Just Dance 2018 comes in.
It should come as no surprise that the Smiths love a good family game night. At least once a week we order pizza, pull out a stack of games, and spend some quality time together. But recently, we haven’t gotten past the first game because we just have so much fun with it! That game is Spin Master Games’s Hedbanz. Our neighbors probably want to know what is going on in our house because the laughing fits get so loud – they can hear them.
As you probably know, we play a lot of video games in our family. My daughters are pretty young – only 4 and 6 years old. Because of this we need to really pay attention to video game ratings. We know that there are many benefits to gaming for kids and thanks to GameStop and UpNorthLive, we were given some great tips on age appropriate gaming. Sometimes my husband and I forget just how young they are while selecting video games as gifts for the girls.
My husband is a HUGE Kingdom Hearts fan. In fact, he is currently in the process of getting a Kingdom Hearts tattoo on his arm – and it is pretty fantastic. When we found out that GameStop was creating an EXCLUSIVE Kingdom Hearts Funko POP box, well, we were pretty darn excited. I have quite the Funko POP collection – OK, I will admit it, I am addicted to them. And my husband “lets me” keep his in my office, so I was all for him getting this box.
