Admittedly, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. took me a while to get in to. But once I got past the fact that Coulson was dead, and now back, I loved it. What held me up? I was so afraid it would be super lame how they explained that away – don’t worry, it was actually amazing. If you haven’t watched this show yet, binge Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. now, and then slide right in to Season 6, which is airing now on ABC.
I have been watching Game of Thrones since day one. It is one of those shows that had me hooked instantly, and since I have read the books (come on Georges…finish them already), I was even more excited about it. My dogs are named Sansa and Khaleesi, after all.
I love a good crime drama – especially when it filled with twists and turns like Dead to Me. When I first saw the trailer for this Netflix show, I was intrigued. After seeing several of my friends watching it (and loving it), I decided I would give it a shot. Well, I was immediately sucked in, and finished it in two days.
Earlier this week we learned a lot about the new Disney+ streaming service, and there are honestly so many shows that I am excited for. It seems like all of my favorite Marvel characters are making their way to the small screen and I cannot wait. But one show in particular I have been waiting to hear more details about since it was announced, The Mandalorian. This is going to be the FIRST live action Star Wars television show, which is a big deal.
You might not know this but the first time I watched Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was when season one premiered. I struggled through the first episode and could not get over that Coulson was alive. Yes, I love the man, but how was he alive? He died in The Avengers. It happens all the time in the comics, but this was something I was unsure of in the MCU. Well, years later I ended up binge watching seasons one through four of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – and boy had I been missing out!
Game of Thrones is coming back this month and I for one, am over the moon excited. To help celebrate, I came up with a great keto cocktail that you can enjoy while watching every Sunday night. One of my least favorite people in this series – someone I truly love to hate – is King Joffrey. So I though it might be fun to theme this cocktail for his pleasant demise in the series. This drink goes great with the Game of Thrones inspired Dragon Eggs appetizer recipe I shared earlier.
My daughters and I love the firs two Descendants movies and are really looking forward to Descendants 3. I am, and always have been, a villains girl. I love me a good villain. Which is probably one of the reasons I love this franchise so much. They are all kids of the villains and it is amazing. Sure they are not AS evil, but we do see them being evil here and there and I love it. Well this morning the Descendants 3 “mystery” trailer dropped featuring two new VKs – and I am here for it!
Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger is finally back with their second season. This two episode premiere just ended, and I hope you all loved it. I already shared my spoiler free review of the Cloak and Dagger season two premiere with you, but now I am ready to dive in to the spoilers. Tandy and Tyrone are picking up right where they left off – just 8 months in the future. But they are basically in the same spots they were at the end of season one.
One of my all time favorite shows came to end last night – You’re The Worst. While I was super sad to see it go, and really think it was too soon (I wanted at least another 2 or 3 seasons), the ending was perfection. This finale was all I could have hoped for, and more. I would be lying if I said I didn’t tear up. OK, I cried. Like hardcore sobbed. If you have not yet watched the finale be warned, there are spoilers in this article.
Barry is one of my favorite HBO television shows and I was so happy that it came back for a second season. Bill Hader absolutely blew me away as this cold blooded killer that suddenly gets a change of heart. He struggles through season one trying to quit the assassination business, and the season ends with him killing Detective Janice Moss, who is in a relationship with his acting teacher, Gene Cousineau, because she discovered he was a murderer. Well season two is back tonight and I just watched the premiere. Did it suck me right back in? You bet it did.
