As most of you know by now, I am a huge gamer. I love every aspect of it. I enjoy buckling down, putting on some headphones, and taking some “mommy time” to immerse myself in another world. I also enjoy getting the whole family together and playing fun and lighthearted video games. We own a Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, Xbox 360, and PS4 – so clearly we love a wide variety of games. Ubisoft has been one of my favorite gaming companies for quite some time now. No matter what type of gamer you are (hardcore, fun loving, family, or single player), you can never go wrong with an Ubisoft game! Here are a few that I recommend – and be sure to watch for future FanGirl Friday posts where I will get in to more detailed reviews of my favorites.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
I have been a big fan of the Assassin’s Creed games since they came out. They are one of my favorite types of games. I have yet to open this one up and play it, but I plan to take many of my husband’s holiday vacation days, and spend them playing this game while he watches the girls – don’t judge! It is one of that games that you just can’t put down and I am preparing for that.
Game Synopsis: London, 1868. The Industrial Revolution unleashes an incredible age of invention, transforming the lives of millions with technologies once thought impossible. Opportunities created during this period have people rushing to London to engage in this new world, a world no longer controlled by kings, emperors, politicians, or religion, but by a new common denominator: money. Not everyone is able to enjoy the benefits of this boom, however. Despite fueling the engine of the British Empire, workers’ lives are little more than legalized slavery while the top few percent profit from their labor. Rainbow 6 Siege
My husband has been waiting for this game since he heard it was coming out. He loves the Rainbow 6 series. Seriously, he will be MIA for days when a new one comes out. I really enjoy playing this series as well. It is a lot of fun for older gamers (not young kids) and one of my favorite “shooter” type games. I love all of the options you have in this game, and as I play it more, I will be sure to get a fuller review up for you! But for now, I highly recommend it!

Just Dance 2016
My girls love to dance so of course, I was really interested in getting this game for them. I figured it was one that they would be able to play by themselves, for the most part, and be really proud of themselves for it. I was shocked by how much fun they have playing this game! They would dance for hours and hours if I let them! As a mom, I am pleased with the song choices as well, so that my young girls can enjoy playing!

Just Dance Disney Party 2
As I said above, my girls love to dance. They have been taking dance for the past two years and I strongly feel it is something they will continue to do for many years. They are always dancing around the house. And they love Disney, of course (you probably know what a big Disney family we are if you read my blog regularly), so this was a huge hit for them! They have already spent hours dancing along to their favorite songs. My 3 year old is starting to get the hang of it, but I was super impressed by my 4 year old! She has moves!

Hasbro Family Fun Pack
I love having friends and family over to play games. This is one game that is so much fun – for just the 4 of us – and for when friends come over. We have game nights a lot and we usually pull out the board games, but now we don’t have to! I know that several of my friends who have come over and played this game now plan to get it for themselves. There is nothing like these fun Hasbro games – and getting to play them up on the TV makes it that much more entertaining – plus, no one can cheat (which my 4 year old is very good at doing)!

Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets
My family LOVES the show Gravity Falls. It is a show that my daughters get engaged in – and it keeps my husband and I interested because it is an AMAZING story line. We were sad to hear earlier this month that Gravity Falls is indeed, coming to an end. But at least now we can keep it alive with this game. The Nintendo 3DS is a system that my girls enjoy playing with, and they are really good at it. So of course, they wanted to try this game out as soon as they saw it. My husband has been itching for it as well, so he was thrilled to see it arrive. We have spent several nights on the couch, huddled around our 3DS as we play this game. It is great for anyone who is a fan of the show, and honestly, I think even if you know nothing about it!
