The New Mutants is coming home on digital, DVD, and Blu-ray November 17th — check out this list of bonus features and enter to win a copy!
In The New Mutants, five young people who demonstrate special powers are forced to undergo treatment at a secret institution – allegedly to cure them of the dangers of their powers. But it’s soon clear that their containment is part of a much bigger battle between the forces of good and evil! And soon, on November 17th, you can bring this film home on digital, DVD, and Blu-ray.
The New Mutants is about a thousand times better than most people expected it to be. Anyone who thinks this is not in the top five X-Men movies is just crazy and lying to themselves. If you are a fan of The New Mutants comic books, you are going to love this movie. There is so much in there for fans that you cannot help but be excited about.
The movie was well cast and each character brings a lot to the table. Some things are different from the comics but nothing too major that will anger the fandom. In fact, what fans do get should have them over the moon excited about it.
There is not a lot of action because of the nature of the suspense in the movie, but the battles we do get are pretty amazing. When we see the team using their powers and learning to control them, we know they are a team that should not be messed with.
My favorite part of home releases is for sure the bonus features. I feel like they give you a deeper look into the movie, especially the deleted scenes. The New Mutants has a lot of deleted scenes, among other great bonus features. Here is the full list.
