My family is a family of gamers – as you likely already know. We tend to run out to the store and pick up the latest games the day they come out. There was one in particular that we had been dying to be released for our Nintendo Switch – Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. I could tell from the trailer video that it would be a huge hit for our family. When Ubisoft sent us a copy of it (plus a really amazing collectible), I was proved right! We spent the entire long Labor Day Weekend playing it.
Guys, I am over the moon excited to share with you that casting for “Aladdin,” the live-action adaptation of Disney’s animated classic, is complete and production is currently underway at Longcross Studios outside London! This is a movie that I have been waiting for for a long time. One of my favorite Disney movies growing up was always Aladdin. I love all of the music – and even used to put on concerts with my friends for my parents featuring the soundtrack!
My daughters and I love Disney Junior. It is one of our favorite channels to watch together. There are so many great shows – that all have a great lesson to be learned. Plus, who doesn’t just LOVE Disney? We are huge Disney fans! One of our current favorite shows is P. King Duckling. This show is so much fun, and the first DVD is on it’s way out! Be sure to grab your copy on September 12. We received an advance copy and it is full of some of the best episodes.
Even though school just started, the holidays are fast approaching. With so many toys out there, I wanted to give you a heads up on five from Little Tikes that we have – and that my girls love! These are all sure to make great holiday gifts for your little ones. Trust me, it is never too early to start shopping.
I travel a lot – for personal vacations as well as for business trips. Because of my job and my lifestyle, no matter where I go, I have a lot of electronics and gadgets that come along with me. I never leave the house without my cellphones, power banks, Nikon D5000, & Microsoft Surface Pro. I am constantly taking photos and recording my trips, so I need these items, plus all of the chargers that come along with them. I hate just throwing cords in to my suitcase, so have been looking for a good organizer for a while. I was thrilled to discover Porte Play organizers.
As you probably know, I was lucky enough to hit the red carpet for the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 premiere and interview the cast. It immediately became my favorite comic book movie for many reasons. This movie brings the feels, y’all. It is incredibly well done. The cast, the director, the humor, the emotions – all reasons to love it. GotG Vol. 2 is out on digital HD right now, and will hit stores on DVD and Blu-ray on August 22nd. To help celebrate, I threw a movie night under the stars with my family – and I am sharing our fun with you so you can do the same!
As you likely already know, I am a HUGE Star Wars fan! Today is Force Friday II, which I have been looking forward to for weeks. This morning, I grabbed my brand new Sphero R2-D2 & BB-9E (more on those later!) and headed out to my local GameStop. I was so excited to celebrate today at one of my all time favorite stores. As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by all the cool merchandise and deals that they had. If you are a Star Wars fan, I strongly encourage you to check out your local GameStop this weekend!
We were so excited when Spin Master Games sent us Cars 3 Piston Cup Showdown too! This game looked like a ton of fun and we were thinking about picking it up ourselves – and then it showed up at our door! I just knew this was a game that my daughters would love. Not only because they are huge Cars and Disney fans, but because they love games – especially ones that pit them against each other.
One of the best things about Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World is the exclusive character meet and greets. During this party, there are many villains and characters that this is the only time you can see them. We went in 2015 and there were some pretty amazing characters there – so we have been dying to go back. When our August 2017 Disney World plans allowed us to attend MNSSHP, we were so excited. We couldn’t wait to find out who we would bump in to!
