As you likely already know, I am a HUGE Star Wars fan! Today is Force Friday II, which I have been looking forward to for weeks. This morning, I grabbed my brand new Sphero R2-D2 & BB-9E (more on those later!) and headed out to my local GameStop. I was so excited to celebrate today at one of my all time favorite stores. As soon as I walked in, I was blown away by all the cool merchandise and deals that they had. At my store they were playing trivia, watching the movies, & so much more. If you are a Star Wars fan, I strongly encourage you to check out your local GameStop this weekend!
Star Wars Merchandise & Deals
I am a collector by nature, so there are tons of goodies that I wanted to leave GameStop with. The deals on the Star Wars merchandise was super tempting. I mean, have you seen the new Funko POP collection? Yes please! I don’t 100% know what Porg is yet, but I want every single Porg related item I can find! Adorable! There are lots of amazing Star Wars figures, and the Sphero App-Enabled Droids are a ton of fun! My GameStop had a lot of Star Wars collectibles on clearance – and the clearance items were buy 1 get 1 free! Be sure to check out your local store to see if they have the same deals.
Exclusive to Game Stop
I know I have mentioned it before, but I am obsessed with exclusives! GameStop has some pretty incredible Star Wars related ones – and I need them all. The Black Series Supreme Leader Snoke (Throne Room) would look amazing in my office, let’s face it. The Black Series Guard 4-Pack is super fun, and has me really excited for The Last Jedi. But most of all, I need the Star Wars: The Last Jedi DJ POP! Vinyl. You guys all know about my Funko POP obsession, so this shouldn’t surprise you at all.

One of my favorite games is Star Wars Battlefront, so I cannot wait for Battlefront II to come out November 17, 2017! If you pre-order yours at GameStop, there are several bonuses that you will get. From September 1-3, retailers around the world invite fans to Find the Force by taking part in an AR treasure hunt. Here’s how it works: first, download the Star Wars App, which is your one-stop-shop for all things Star Wars (those who already have the app will need to download the latest version). Then, visit any one of 20,000 participating retail locations to find a graphic that contains the Find the Force logo (like GameStop!). When you scan the graphic using the Star Wars App, you’ll reveal a character, who through augmented reality, will appear in the room with you. You can then take photos, record videos, and share the experience on social media. Come back each day to reveal new characters (15 in total across the program’s three-day run).
