One of the shows that my girls LOVE is PJ Masks. This show is super fun and airs on Disney Junior. Since the moment it came out, it has been a hit in our home. It focuses around three kids that become superheroes at night. There are some other kids that become villains. This is one of the shows that I can sit and watch with my girls and get totally in to. It is funny, entertaining, and even teaches kids some pretty great lessons. PJ Masks: Time to Be A Hero is out on DVD now – and we highly recommend it.

When we found out that we were going to be at Walt Disney World during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, we were thrilled! We went a few years ago and have been dying to go back. When we booked our first trip as DVC members for the end of August, we thought for sure we were going to miss the 2017 party. But luck was on our side and it turns out we will be able to attend MNSSHP! Right away, we started planning our costumes. It took some debating, but we finally settled on one of favorite Disney XD shows – Star Vs. The Forces of Evil!
The Smith family loves all things related to comic books. In case you have not already figured it out, all four of us are huge geeks! We live for that kind of thing. After a long day and the kids are finally in bed, one of our favorite things to do is binge watch a good show. Not too long ago, my husband and I discovered DC Legends of Tomorrow. We binge watched season one, and so we were thrilled to receive an advance copy of season 2! We started binging it right away – and were not at all disappointed!
One thing all kids like is stuffed animals. I will admit it, I even have a few stuffed animals that sit on my bed and the couch in my office. I asked my daughters to come up with a list of 5 stuffed animals that they have that are their favorites. It was basically no contest for them – these are their top 5!
I am really looking forward to Marvel’s Inhumans coming to ABC in September. The Inhumans comic book series is one of my favorites and has been for a long time. The characters are all amazing and the story lines always have me hooked. Black Bolt and Medusa are one of my absolute favorite comic book couples. Now, I know many people out there don’t know much about The Inhumans. I put together a list of my favorite trade paperbacks that are sure to get you hooked on them – and also ready for the ABC TV Series!
My youngest daughter is going off to all day Preschool starting in September. Because of this, we are really taking advantage of the summer. We have traveled around a lot – and have spent many afternoons packing up lunch and having a picnic together. This is one of our favorite things to do on a nice warm day. Living in upstate New York, we have to enjoy the nice weather while we can.

My girls LOVE everything My Little Pony. Most of their favorite movies are Equestria Girls movies and so they were thrilled to learn the Equestria Girls are back for a magic-filled triple feature! We received an advance copy of My Little Pony Equestria Girls: Magical Movie Night and my daughters were over the moon! We watched it almost immediately – and then again and again. I admit, I really enjoyed this as well! It is a great family movie for any My Little Pony fans!
From the moment we saw the first trailer, my girls’ were anxious to see Boss Baby. When it hit theaters, we took them to see it on opening weekend. They were jumping and down while we waiting to go in and could not. Wait through the entire movie, they had smiles on their faces. They kept asking my husband and I if we saw certain parts of the movie and wanted to make sure that we did not miss anything. After Boss Baby ended, they asked us if they could watch it again. Right away. Every single time we went to the movies after that they asked if we were going to see Boss Baby.
My girls are obsessed with Kate and Mim-Mim. We watch the show all the time. They also have several toys that they play with and re-enact their favorite episodes. So they were thrilled to hear about the latest DVD release – Kate and Mim-Mim: Super Kate. This DVD features four of our favorite stories from the popular kids series “Kate & Mim-Mim”. We received an advance copy and have already watched it over and over and over. It quickly found a home in our mini-van for longer car rides.
