I was one of the first human beings in the world to see Avengers: Infinity War. Man, it feels weird (and awesome) to say that. Last night I attended the World Premiere of Infinity War with the cast and filmmakers. I spent over two and a half hours watching what will clearly go down as one of the best superhero films to ever be made – and I am still processing it. So much happened. Tears were shed, laughs were laughed, and don’t even bring up the chills – so many chills. This Marvel fan girl had literal goosebumps the majority of the movie. You can walk in to Infinity War expecting it to be the best Marvel film ever – and you will STILL be blown away.

Pixar Fest is finally here! That’s right – Pixar Fest opens TODAY at Disneyland Resort. I recently visited Pixar Animation Studios to learn all about Incredibles 2 (so much more coming on that) and while there, I got to chat with the Disney Parks Pixar team. Of course Pixar Fest was the main topic of conversation and let us in on all the details. We also talked about Pixar heading to all the Disney Parks around the world. Personally, I am hoping for more Coco presence in Mexico at Epcot! Pixar Fest runs from today, April 13th, to September 3rd. If you are heading out to California to partake in the fun, here are some don’t miss activities (and food!).
Recently, the most amazing email hit my inbox. Marvel was inviting me to attend the World Premiere of their most anticipated film yet – Avengers: Infinity War. If you know anything about me, you know I am a bit of a Marvel fan. So for me to be at the Infinity War Premiere – walking the red carpet – seeing the movie with the cast (as they watch it for the very first time) – WOW! I mean, WOW. There are really no other words to describe my excitement. But that is not all Marvel has in store for this group of 25 bloggers – oh no! And as if things couldn’t get any better – my birthday falls during the event. Talk about turning 34 in style!
As you likely know by now, I have changed my way of eating to a Keto lifestyle. It has been about two months know and I feel better than ever. I knew going in to this that I would be spending nearly two weeks (12 days) at the most magical place on Earth, Walt Disney World. Being Disney Vacation Club members allowed us to be able to escape this snowy, frigid, and downright depressing winter, and enjoy some fun in the sun. It is no secret that Disney is our favorite vacation spot – I mean, it is why we joined the DVC. But there are temptations everywhere for someone trying to cut out carbs – here is how I survived my extended Disney vacation on Keto!
If you have been a follower of mine for a while, then you likely know I went to LA for the Thor: Ragnarok red carpet premiere. I was lucky enough to interview some of the cast and it was something I will never forget. Totally one of my favorite press events to date. If you didn’t see my spoiler free review of the film, you can read it here. Well, Thor: Ragnarok has finally come home. There are many reasons to pick it up (honestly one of the best Marvel films to date, in my opinion), but the bonus features are the main reason! The deleted and extended scenes, as well as the gag reel, had me laughing so hard I had tears.
One day about a month ago I looked in the mirror and was disgusted. A while back I lost a lot of weight, and was looking and feeling great. Well, life happened and I put back on a lot of those pounds (luckily not all of them). Some of my friends had recently lost a lot of weight on the Keto Diet (high fat, medium protien, low to no carbs), so I decided to do some research. My husband is a science guy, and doesn’t believe anything unless it is proven. And so he decided to do his own research. We both came to the same conclusion – Keto was for us.
2017 was a fabulous year for movies. Some of my very favorites were released – and I was lucky enough to attend the red carpet premiere for two of them! While there were a lot that I loved (and a handful of ones I did not), there were 10 that really stood out to me. Yes, there is pretty much a common theme with them – I am a total comic book fan girl and this list shows it. So without further ado, here are my top 10 favorite films of 2017, plus 5 that are slated for 2018 that I just cannot wait for!
I am sure I have said this time and time again, but one of our favorite things to do as a family is cuddle up and watch a movie. We have family movie night once a week, and I truly think it is something we all look forward to. When we first saw trailers for Nut Job 2: Nutty By Nature, we knew it was a movie we would all love to see. No matter how many times we saw it, we were still laughing! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to theaters to see it, but that’s OK because Universal sent us an advance copy to check out!
We are a huge Disney family, so of course we saw Cars 3 in theaters. It immediately became of my favorite Disney movies. The lesson that it teaches is incredible – and an important one for kids. Cars 3 is sure to touch your heart. You will laugh, and in true Disney fashion, you might even cry. I know I did. The blu-ray just hit stores today, but I was lucky enough to get an advance copy. I think that every single bonus feature is a must watch!
