When we were on our most recent family vacation at Disney World,  the newest Disney Channel Original Movie came out. I remember my husband and I cuddling up with our daughters on our bed at the Polynesian and watching Zombies. My girls are in to spooky things for some reason, and so this movie was right up their alley! Not too scary, but featuring one of their favorite things – ZOMBIES! Honestly, my husband and I really enjoyed this movie too.

We may not be seeing much of Hawkeye lately, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a major part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). In fact, not seeing him in the Avengers: Infinity War trailers and posters could mean he is more important than we could even imagine. I have my own theories for him, and in less than two weeks we will know for sure. Sometimes I channel Hawkeye because I love archery. Where I live, there are not many places to shoot around, so I created my own target out of a few things I found in the basement. It was really easy, and did not take long at all.

Incredibles 2 hits theaters in June and after heading to Pixar Animation Studios to learn all about it, I can pretty much guarantee it is going to be the movie of the summer. I was totally blown away by all the work that goes into creating an animated feature film. Stay tuned for all the details on that later, but right now I want to tell you guys all about my experience at Pixar Animation Studios. This place is amazing. I knew it would be surreal to step on to the campus, but I wasn’t prepared for all the emotions I would feel. And all the awesome things I would see.

Recently, the most amazing email hit my inbox. Marvel was inviting me to attend the World Premiere of their most anticipated film yet – Avengers: Infinity War. If you know anything about me, you know I am a bit of a Marvel fan. So for me to be at the Infinity War Premiere – walking the red carpet – seeing the movie with the cast (as they watch it for the very first time) – WOW! I mean, WOW. There are really no other words to describe my excitement. But that is not all Marvel has in store for this group of 25 bloggers – oh no! And as if things couldn’t get any better – my birthday falls during the event. Talk about turning 34 in style!

Today three really important things happened in Marvel. Throughout the day, I saw some pretty amazing announcements. But I also noticed some things that perhaps, not all of you noticed. I am digging into my Marvel knowledge bank and sharing this all with you. I want to know your thoughts on these announcements – so please comment below and let me know!

If you know anything about me, you know that I am a HUGE Marvel fan. You also might know that I recently changed to the Keto way of eating. In just two and a half months, I have lost over thirty pounds and have a whole new lease on life! My energy and confidence are renewed! So when I decided to create a super fun Avengers: Infinity War themed dessert, I knew it had to be Keto friendly so that I could enjoy it too. So my husband and I put our heads together and came up with some amazingly delicious Keto approved Infinity Stone Macarons! Each macaron is only 2.5 net carbs – so enjoy, just don’t share them with Thanos!

My husband and I went to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi in theaters the weekend it came out. I wrote about my favorite parts of the film already, but honestly, I was itching for the blu-ray release. One of my favorite things about picking up movies on blu-ray is seeing all of the bonus features. I am a sucker for deleted scenes and commentary – I think that is one of the reason I enjoy attending interviews with the cast and crew of movies so much. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is finally available to take home tomorrow, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out on the bonus features!

As you likely know by now, I have a thing for superheroes. They are kind of a major part of my life. So of course, The Incredibles is one of my favorite Pixar movies. I saw it theaters when it came out and when my husband and I honeymooned at Walt Disney World, we were so excited to meet Mr. and Mrs. Incredible. We had not met before this movie came out, but it was a favorite of each of ours before we even met. So when Incredibles 2 was announced a while back, we both starting counting the days until it’s release! Then something really exciting happened – Disney & Pixar invited me to check out Pixar in person, as well as some footage of Incredibles 2! The event takes place April 3rd to the 5th, so be sure to follow along with #Incredibles2Event.

There is no bond quite like the one between mother and child. The moment I birthed my children, I knew that. But did I know that the whole time I was pregnant? Nope. I was terrified – I mean, TERRIFIED – that I would not love my children the way so many mothers do. I was afraid that I would not know how to take care of them, and I was afraid that I would be a bad mom.

This past week I finally saw Black Panther in theaters. I know, I know. I might as well turn in my Marvel fan girl card right now. We were at Disney when it came out and we had opted not to take the girls. After seeing it, I am really glad we made that decision. When we came home my husband had a lot of time to makeup at work and had to work late nights and the weekend. Then the following weekend, we had plans to go but had to cancel our sitter when the stomach bug hit our house hard. Finally, my husband and I made it to a Monday matinee. I am so glad that we saw this movie because it made me feel all sorts of feelings – from laughter, to sadness, and even shame.
