Halloween is our favorite time of year in our family — and here is a list of must watch Halloween movies for kids!

This year at New York Comic-Con, our favorite panel was the special preview of Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2, featuring director Rich Moore, director/writer Phil Johnston, head of story Josie Trinidad (who all also worked on Zootopia and the original Wreck-it Ralph!), and an exclusive look at over 20 minutes of the movie!
When I first heard that Venom was going to become a movie, I was over the moon excited. Venom is a fantastic character in the Marvel comic books. I have felt like really needed a redemption after Spider-Man 3. Don’t get me wrong, I love Topher Grace, but he was just not the right choice for Eddie Brock. As the trailers came, I was less and less excited – until that final one. In that one, they sold me.
I loved the first Mama Mia and am waiting to watch Here We Go Again with my mom for sentimental reasons. Here are the bonus features!
If you have been following me for a while than you know I was out in LA earlier this year to help promote the in theater release of Ant-Man and The Wasp. I interviewed most of the cast (Paul Rudd does not age and Evangeline Lilly is just as amazing as you would think) as well as the Director Peyton Reed. All those interviews can be found here on my site. I also got to see the movie before it came out, and I loved it so much I still went and saw it opening weekend.
My family went to go see Hotel Transylvania 3 in theaters, and I must say, my daughters really loved it! So much so that they asked to go back and watch it again the very next day (we didn’t). For at least a month they brought up jokes from the movie and would start laughing uncontrollably to themselves. Which is super adorable by the way. So when I was given the chance to celebrate the home release of this film with a kit full of amazing items and crafts – you know I jumped at it!
The indie dramedy No Postage Necessary is available on blu-ray and DVD on October 2nd. Check out my review here!
So I am a horrible geek. Just starting out with that. I did not get a chance to see Solo: A Star Wars Story in theaters. I could make up all the excuses, about babysitters and children, but the bottom line is we just didn’t get to see it. My husband and I have really been looking forward to it’s home release date and last night it showed up on our doorstep, along with the Ultimate Solo Movie and Game Night kit! My girls got in on the fun, and were so excited to see lots of Chewie items. They love Chewie, but really, how could they not.
I am a giant Marvel fan and I am totally raising my kids to be Marvel fans too. Recently I got a screener for Marvel Rising: Secret Warriors and just could not wait to share with with my girls. I have been reading the new Marvel Rising comic books which feature Squirrel Girl and Ms. Marvel, so I was really excited to see them in this movie. Plus, who doesn’t love America Chavez and Patriot?! Quake, actually voiced by Chloe Bennet, had me pretty darn excited too because I LOVE her in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
I know the story of Freaky Friday well. I remember seeing several versions of the play when I was a young girl, so when I found out the latest Disney Original Movie was going to be a new take on it, I couldn’t wait to share it with my daughters. From the first moment they saw the previews, they were hooked! And we counted down the days until it aired on The Disney Channel in August. On September 25th, you can bring this super fun movie home to watch time and time again!
