Alright guys, hear me out first. I know that a lot of people want Kylo Ren and Rey together just like I do. Maybe it is the sap in me or maybe it is because I just adore them both so much. I cannot be alone in this. I can’t. They are amazing apart, and would make a great couple. Sure Kylo is immature at times, but I really think Rey could reign him in. They had a moment in Episode VIII and I loved it (I even listed it as one of my top 5 favorite moments in The Last Jedi). How awesome would it be if they ran the galaxy together?

I have seen the original The Lion King more times than I can possibly count. Part of the reason is probably the fact that I had a bit of a crush on JTT, who voiced Simba. I also have a brother that is 11 years younger than me and so we watched it together. Over and over. The film brings back great memories. Mostly. Except for when Mufasa is brutally murdered. And then Scar convinces poor little Simba it is all his fault and tells him to run away. Today we got the first official The Lion King (2019 version)…

We just got a teaser trailer for the new animated 2019 movie, The Addams Family, and I am so excited. I only recently found out about this movie, but I was hyped immediately. I adored the movies and the television show. Learning that it was going to be an animated film meant I would for sure be taking my girls to see it. We love all things creepy, so I know they are going to be hyped for this too! My Reaction I am totally here for this movie. Like I said, I loved The Addams Family growing up. The…

We just got a new clip from Avengers: Endgame and it made my jaw literally drop. Captain America has some choice words to say about Thanos, and let’s just say they aren’t up to his normal standards. Now, I have always been a Team Iron Man kind of girl BUT I think Captain America just pulled me over to Team Cap. At least a little bit. The man grew some balls! I have always felt he was a too much of a goody-two-shoes for me, but I am loving this new Cap! Now, if we could just get the beard back…

I have two young daughters and every Easter we decorate our own Easter eggs. This year I discovered Eggnots, a dyeable ceramic replacement for Easter eggs, and I am so excited about them. Now we can keep our creations year after year – and I cannot wait to see how my daughters’ artwork changes over the years. If you know me, you know I am a total Marvel geek, so of course I made Infinity Stone Easter eggs for mine.

This weekend I took my entire family to see Shazam. Yes, even my 6 and 7 year old daughters. I need to point out that they have seen Avengers: Infinity War, and they are pretty used to language and violence in films. Say about that what you will – maybe we aren’t the best parents? – but they both loved Shazam! They were cracking up – we all were – and even cheering at the action. At one point, during a particularly violent and potentially scary scene, my 7 year old even yelled “now that is the action I was waiting for!”. Shazam is easily the second best DCEU movie, falling behind Wonder Woman. Read on for my full Shazam review.

Game of Thrones is coming back this month and I for one, am over the moon excited. To help celebrate, I came up with a great keto cocktail that you can enjoy while watching every Sunday night. One of my least favorite people in this series – someone I truly love to hate – is King Joffrey. So I though it might be fun to theme this cocktail for his pleasant demise in the series. This drink goes great with the Game of Thrones inspired Dragon Eggs appetizer recipe I shared earlier.

A Dog’s Way Home is the heartwarming adventure of Bella, the brave and adventurous dog that embarks on an epic 400-mile journey home after she is separated from her beloved human, Lucas. We have two dogs and after my daughters watched the movie, I think they got a whole new appreciation for their pets – and the unconditional love that they have for us. Director Charles Martin Smith actually said that is what he hopes kids and families take away from A Dog’s Way Home, so he was definitely doing something right.

My daughters and I love the firs two Descendants movies and are really looking forward to Descendants 3. I am, and always have been, a villains girl. I love me a good villain. Which is probably one of the reasons I love this franchise so much. They are all kids of the villains and it is amazing. Sure they are not AS evil, but we do see them being evil here and there and I love it. Well this morning the Descendants 3 “mystery” trailer dropped featuring two new VKs – and I am here for it!
