Game of Thrones is coming back this month and I for one, am over the moon excited. To help celebrate, I came up with a great keto cocktail that you can enjoy while watching every Sunday night. One of my least favorite people in this series – someone I truly love to hate – is King Joffrey.
So I though it might be fun to theme this cocktail for his pleasant demise in the series. This drink goes great with the Game of Thrones inspired Dragon Eggs appetizer recipe I shared earlier (pictured below).

Ingredients
- Vodka
- Sugar Free Red Bull – Lime or Pear Flavored
- Ice
Directions
- Fill cup halfway with ice.
- Pour in 1.5 oz. of your favorite brand of vodka.
- Fill the rest of the cup up with Lime or Pear flavored Sugar Free Red Bull. These are the best flavors because they are green, which is where the poison look comes from. However, any flavor will work.
Carbs: 1 per serving
This keto friendly vodka cocktail is so easy to make and tastes great. Just be careful you don’t have too many or you might end up like Joffrey – or at least you might feel like it the next day.
About Game of Thrones
George R.R. Martin’s best-selling book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” is brought to the screen as HBO sinks its considerable storytelling teeth into the medieval fantasy epic.
It’s the depiction of two powerful families — kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars and honest men — playing a deadly game for control of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, and to sit atop the Iron Throne.
Martin is credited as a co-executive producer and one of the writers for the series, whose shooting locations include Northern Ireland, Malta, Croatia and Spain.
Game of Thrones Season 8 Premieres April 14th on HBO!

Oh, this is great. It really does look like a glass of poison. Annoyingly, we don’t really get flavoured Red Bull over in England – well not that I’ve come across anyway. Hopfully something like limeade will do just aswell. Or maybe I’ll have to crack out the green food colouring. Thinking about throwing a mini Game of Thrones soiree and these would be perfect.

Oh no, you don’t? It is so yummy! But I am sure limeade would work as well. If not, you can always add some food coloring, which should not change the flavor! If you do host a party, enjoy! I cannot wait for Sunday!
Brilliant idea for a keto cocktail. Well done.
Why thank you!
