Pop! Funkoverse: Game Of Thrones 100 is a great game for Game Of Thrones fans! Not only is it lots of fun, it comes with awesome collectible figures.
Game Of Thrones is one of my favorite shows of all time. My husband and I both read the books, so of course we were very invested in the show. I have all of the Game Of Thrones Funko Pop! Collection — or at least I thought I did. I only recently discovered that there are Funko Games called Pop! Funkoverse. They come with exclusive to the game Pop figures and yes, I plan to get a lot of these games now.
We had never played one and since our family loves gaming, Funko Games sent us the Game Of Thrones version to try out (THANK YOU!). We are always looking for new games to add to our collection because we play at least one night a week, if not more.
The four exclusive Funko Pop! figures are found only in this game and are actually playable characters! Yeah, I was freaking out too. Included in Pop! Funkoverse: Game Of Thrones Strategy Game are Daenerys Targaryen, Night King, Jon Snow, and Arya Stark. And yes, their figures are amazing.
One of the coolest things about the Pop! Funkoverse Strategy Games is that they can be combined with others to create one epic battle! Knowing this is a little dangerous for me because it means I am about to spend a lot of money on Pop! Funkoverse games! They have Nightmare Before Christmas, DC, Harry Potter, and so many more!
Overall Thoughts
My husband and I had a lot of fun playing this game together. We are big fans of the show, so we could really appreciate the details that were put into the game (I mean having a Needle card — you guys!!). We didn’t even bother to play with our daughters, since they have not seen the show, but I think they would be able to play — and would have a blast with — the Harry Potter Funkoverse.
In fact, we are thinking of picking it up as a Christmas gift this year. As I have said before, our girls are used to more complicated games, but the recommended age of 13+ from Funko is probably pretty accurate for most kids. Maybe 11 — depending on the child and how often they play more advanced games like this.
I highly recommend the Funkoverse games for any geek like me. Not only because of the super fun gameplay that real fans are sure to enjoy, but because of the exclusive Funko Pops! too! I mean, you cannot beat that!

In the Funkoverse Strategy Game, you combine your favorite characters and go head-to-head in exciting game scenarios. Each turn, you select one of your characters and perform two actions. Each character has access to basic actions like moving and challenges as well as several unique abilities that may be performed only by spending ability tokens.
Funkoverse uses an innovative “cooldown” system – the more powerful the ability, the longer it will take for the ability token to become available again – so players have to spend their ability tokens wisely.
