The Boys Presents: Diabolical is shocking, brutal, and bloody. This gore-filled series gives The Boys fans fun animated spinoffs, all in different styles.

The Boys is one of the best shows on television right now. It is bloody, shocking, and full of drama — not to mention, it is all about super powered people. Based off of the popular comic books by the same now, this show now has an animated series spinoff called The Boys Presents: Diabolical. And it is everything that fans could have hoped for.

This show delivers on so many levels as it takes viewers on an eight episode journey through the world of The Boys. It doesn’t focus on the Supes we already know and love (or love to hate) though, these are all new people for the most part, and new storylines to follow. Each one is shocking, bloody, brutal, and a freaking blast.

Probably the best thing about The Boys Presents: Diabolical is that each of these episodes works as a standalone. They have different writers, directors, and even different animation styles. This makes them all unique and allows them to each bring something new to the world of The Boys.
Each and every episode is banana pants crazy. They are filled with shocking twists and turns, bloody and brutal deaths, and every single thing that The Boys fans could ask for. All of the episodes have at least one thing that ties them to the live action show, and what has been going on there.

For example, in the last season Supes learned that their parents had them injected at Vought when they were babies, and that they were not born with powers. This is something that plays into the animated episodes as well. The first one focuses on a baby who shoots lasers out of her eyes, and the second one deals with “pissed off Supes who kill their parents” and it just gets more shocking and more insanely awesome from there — you will never look at fast food the same way again.

The unique thing about this series is how different all of the episodes are. Like we said above, they all have a different animation style. This makes each one feel like a fresh new show, and sets them all apart from each other. But at the same time, they perfectly tie into the bigger world of The Boys, and while they don’t directly connect with each other, the overall stories do come off as believable to be happening in the same universe.

The Boys Presents: Diabolical is a quick and easy binge-watch too, with each short clocking in at just around twelve minutes. The episodes fly by because they are so much fun to watch, and the whole first season is over before you know it. So good in fact, that most fans will start the season all over again as soon as it finishes, just to experience it again.
The Boys season 3 is coming soon, but for now fans around the globe will be thrilled to have The Boys Presents: Diabolical to hold them over. Just as bloody, gore-filled, and vulgar as the live action show, it allows for a new way to see the world of our favorite Supes, and we can’t wait for more!
