Sid the Science Kid: Invent & Investigate Volume 3 on DVD Now!

Sid the Sceince Kid

My daughters are huge fans of Sid the Science Kid. It is one of our favorite PBS Kids shows because they learn so much from it. If you ask my 3 year old the colors of the rainbow, she will sing “Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet too!” which she learned from this show.

Oh, and did I mention that she has been singing that for nearly a year now. It is amazing the stuff that they have picked up on thanks to Sid! They both have very curious minds, much like Sid, and so this show has really helped them learn and grow. I was super thrilled to be able to pass along a new DVD, Sid the Science Kid: Invent & Investigate Volume 3, filled with science fun.

My husband is an engineer and we both strongly believe in the importance of STEM and our little ones. So Sid the Science Kid is a show we, as a family, really get behind.

About Sid The Science Kid

Sid the Science Kid is an inquisitive little boy who uses comedy to tackle questions kids have about basic scientific principles. Why do things work the way they do? He tries to answer each question and solve problems with the help of his family, Teacher Susie, and his classmates, Gabriela, Gerald, and May. In this third volume, Sid and his friends learn all about simple machines, how animals communicate, the importance of dirt, what makes leaves special, bugs and more! When a wheel falls off of Sid’s favorite toy truck, he tries to tape it back on – but the wheel won’t spin.

This leads Sid to wonder, how exactly do wheels work? At school, Sid explores how wheels are simple machines that help move all kinds of items like cars, trains, tricycles and even toy trucks! Let’s invent and investigate with our favorite scientist, Sid the Science Kid!
