One of my favorite Disney/Pixar franchises is Toy Story. All three movies hold a very special place in my heart – and that is one of the main reasons I love sharing them with my children. So imagine how happy we all were to hear that there is going to be a Toy Story 4! The more I see of it, the more excited I get. The final trailer just dropped this morning – and it had me cracking up!

"Stop hanging around Buzz, we're going to Walt Disney World!" That's right, I am packing up my toys and heading to WDW next week to celebrate #ToyStory4! I will be screening the movie, attending a party at #ToyStoryLand, and interviewing the cast! The fun starts June 6th – so be sure to follow along, you don't want to miss it! . . . . . #ToyStory #Disney #DisneyHosted #Woody #BuzzLightyear #DisneyPixar #Pixar #WDW #WaltDisneyWorld #DuckyAndBunny #Forky #DisneyIG #TimAllen #TomHanks #KeanuReeves #DukeCaboom #TonyHale #MamasGeeky
The thing I am most excited about with Toy Story 4 is all the new characters. There are funny ones and creepy ones – and even get an old friend back, Bo Peep! In this latest trailer Ducky (voice of Keegan-Michael Key) and Bunny (voice of Jordan Peele) had me DYING – which you can see in my reaction.I was never expecting them to do that in the trailer and I am STILL laughing about it. LOVED IT!
I am also super excited to see more of Forky‘s story. Why does he think he is trash? That boy needs to learn some confidence!
Creepy New Toys
Of course the creepy new toys are Gabby Gabby and the hoard of ventriloquist dummies (I call them Slappy because they really remind me of that Goosebumps issue). Personally I love creepy stuff, so I am excited, but I hope they aren’t too much for my 6 year old. I will come back and let you know after we see it, of course.
Bo is Back – With a Friend
Something that has me hyped about Toy Story 4 is we will see the return of Bo! She was always one of my favorite characters, and I was sad to see her go. But this girl – well she has a whole new attitude it seems like. Clearly life has been rough on her since she left Woody and the gang, and I am interested to get all the details.
But she doesn’t come back in to the story alone, oh no. She comes back with an adorable little (and I mean little) sidekick – Giggle McDimples! An adorable tiny little cop. I totally cannot wait to learn her story too!
Another new toy, one that we saw a lot of in this new trailer, is Duke Caboom! He seems like a LOT of fun. Which of course he is because he is voiced by Keanu Reeves (who I adore!). So you know I am eager to learn more about this fun, Canadian toy.
About Toy Story 4
Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So, when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy.
But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts).
After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior. As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries.
Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”), and produced by Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”) and Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”),
