As you might know already, I started the Keto Diet with Intermittent Fasting two weeks ago. I have succeeded with no cheating – plus a 30 minute workout (21 day fix) 6 days a week. My weight at the start was 174 pounds (I hate admitting that). Which is significantly more than I care to be. My first goal is 155 (healthy weight according to BMI) and my overall goal is 140. I am happy to say that after 2 weeks of hard work and delicious fatty foods (a total perk to Keto!), I now weigh in at…

Pixar’s latest film, Coco, has hit theaters this week and I cannot wait to take my daughters to see it. From what I hear, and have seen from the trailers, it is all about family and music. And those are two things that are very important in our home. We have tried to teach our girls how family is all that should matter from the moment they were born. I am really looking forward to seeing this film, and to help celebrate, here are some fun printable recipes, activities, and more!

Before going fishing one day, Ethan eats his favorite breakfast – pancakes. As his mom explains how his pancakes are made with help from the sun, clouds, rain, animals, and farmers, Ethan sees the world in a new way. While playing outside, Ethan decides to create a big splash by throwing a can in the lake and accidentally contaminates the environment. Time passes and one day Ethan notices that his pancakes taste different. Realizing his decision to make a big splash caused a problem which affected his food, Ethan enlists the help of his friends to correct his mistake. Do Ethan and his friends fix the taste of the pancakes? What do they learn in the process?

My daughters and I are huge fans of Veggie Tales. We have been for as long as I can remember. So when Veggie Tales in the House started on Netflix, we were hooked! We love to binge watch seasons together and these have been a hit with the whole family! I love Veggie Tales because my daughters learn good lessons with great morals. Veggie Tales teaches them the right way to act in situations and I can see that they have grown just from watching it. Plus, who doesn’t love the fun vegetable characters! Veggie Tales in the House Season 4 hit Netflix today and we have already watched several episodes (our favorite so far is the first part of episode 2, Invisible Arm Wrestling).

Looking for some fun coloring pages, activity sheets, and recipes to print out for your little ones this summer? Look no further! I have rounded up some of my favorites that I have featured in the past. From new movies like Finding Dory and Alice Through the Looking Glass, to older ones like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Inside Out. Fill your summer up with Disney coloring, crafts, and more! Enjoy!

It is no surprise that Finding Dory is already a summer hit. It has been the number one movie for two weekends in a row now. I was finally able to take my whole family this weekend (last weekend we were away at Hershey Park – you can read more on that here soon) and we all loved it. If you have not gone yet, be sure to stay all the way through the credits, well worth the few minute wait! I am a huge Finding Nemo fan and Finding Dory is just as good, if not better. Why? There are a few throw backs to the original movie, there is baby Dory, and it will tug at your heart strings. Yes, I cried – more than once. We all love the new characters like Hank (and really want a pet octopus now) as well as Bailey and Destiny. It is an incredible movie and if you have not seen it yet – GO!
