You all know how much I love Star Wars. I am so excited about this new movie (and the coloring and activity sheets I just received) that I had to log on here and share them with you on the eve of my move. Yup, tomorrow I head to a new home (just 20 minutes away) and the entire house is packed up – but I just had to make sure you guys got these amazing sheets ASAP. My husband and I have had our tickets to see The Force Awakens for quite some time now. Since Fandango broke the internet during Monday Night Football to be exact. We have been waiting for this movie for longer than I can seem to remember. I just know it is going to be amazing. If you are one of those people that has never seen a Star Wars (shame!), get yourself caught up now before the new one comes out. You have exactly 2 weeks – EEK! – and you will thank me!

This weekend my husband and I took my daughters to see The Good Dinosaur. We knew it was going to be a great movie – and it was. You can never go wrong with a Disney/Pixar movie. Nut before we even saw it, we had fallen in love with the characters thanks to the super fun game – Roarin’ Rapids from Wonder Forge Games. This game is the perfect family game because you play it together – not against each other. I just love the fact that we are all on the same team and if one of our dinosaurs gets caught by the river, we all lose and have to try again. If one of us makes it to the mountains in time – then we all win!

Last Christmas my father purchased a LeapTV for my young daughters. They were 2 and 3 at the time and it was the perfect gift. They still play it – and will continue to play it for many years to come. One of their favorite games is the Jake and the Neverland Pirates game because they like to clear the smoke of the volcano. They were beyond thrilled to find this under the tree and at it’s brand new price point of just $59.99 – I know your kids will love it too! My daughters literally jumped up and down when they unwrapped it – and have played it nearly every day since (Yes! Even a year later!) – talk about an investment.

As most of you know, I am a huge Disney fan! Disney/Pixar never disappoints with their movies. I have been dying to see The Good Dinosaur ever since I first heard about it and I cannot wait for it to hit theaters THIS MONTH! Finally – it feels like we have been waiting forever. I love that it comes out the day before Thanksgiving (November 25th) because I will be taking the whole family for a special movie day since the girls have no school. I have posted fun activity sheets for this movie already (click here for those) – but here are some more to hold you over for the next week or so until you can see the film.

Living in Upstate New York, we are not strangers to cold season. The weather gets pretty cold fairly quickly up here and so we always have Kleenex on hand. And by on hand I mean in the car, in my purse, in the diaper bag, and of course, in pretty much every room of the house. My 4 year old is pretty good at blowing her nose when she needs it but my 2.5 year old refuses to use Kleenex. She is always wiping her nose on her sleeve – until now! From the second these adorable Disney’s Frozen Kleenex arrived at our door, she has been actually asking to use them! I was floored – and super excited about it! My 4 year old was really excited about these as well and asked if she could have a pack to carry in her backpack, and of course, I said yes.

I remember going to Chuck E Cheese when I was a little girl. My sister and I would go with my father often and always had a blast. I remember thinking that I wanted to have my birthday party there one day. Well, I never did, but now when my daughters see the commercials, they beg to go. Ever since the first time they saw that ticket blaster on TV, they have wanted to have a birthday party there. My youngest is about to turn 3 years old so I figured we could check out our local Chuck E Cheese and see if it something we would like to do for her party.

Here in Upstate New York it is already getting pretty chilly – we have even had our first snow of the year (although it hasn’t stuck around) but this does not mean that we are hiding indoors. My family loves to play outside year round! We go to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins, we go to the tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree, and we spend a lot of time on the swings and in the yard. There is no reason to stay inside when it gets cold out when there is so much fun to be had.

I don’t know about you, but I am counting down the days until The Good Dinosaur is in theaters! My girls have been asking me nearly every day when we will be going to see it. They are not exactly thrilled when I tell them it will be about a month, but they are excited that we plan to take them opening day. This movie is going to be so good – I just know it. I got to see a little bit of the footage at the D23 Expo this past summer and WOW! Disney/Pixar is bringing it with this one guys. There will be lots of feels, so take tissues along. In the spirit of Halloween (this weekend!) I wanted to share with you a Good Dinosaur pumpkin stencil. Someone please carve this and send me a picture, I would love to see it! There are also some new activity sheets for you to print and share with your kiddos! Have fun!
