I grew up watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My sister and I loved the TV Show, the movies, and we had all of the action figures. You better believe that I love the fact that my young daughters are now just as into TMNT as I was (and OK still am). The second I found out there was a subscription box called TMNT Box – I knew it was something that I needed to get to share with my girls. For just $19.99 a month, you will receive a box with over $40 retail value of amazing Ninja Turtle items! I am talking toys, clothing, and yes – even POP Funko Figures!

My girls LOVE Strawberry Shortcake! This is good news to me because I grew up watching…
One of my favorite shows when I was younger was The Wild Thornberrys. It was always good for a laugh and I watched every single episode. It is one of those shows that I often reflect back on and wish that it was still on TV so I could share it with my girls. Well, thanks to Shout! Factory, now I can! On October 20th they released the 15 disc collection of all 91 globe-trotting episodes of this wildly popular (pun intended) Nickelodeon show. My girls immediately took to it and we are already several discs in. I just knew it would be a hit with them!
My young daughters love Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We watch it every day on Nickelodeon.…
My daughters LOVE VeggieTales. We have every single one of the DVDs and we watch them at least once a week – but usually more. Beauty and the Beet and Celery Night Fever are probably our favorites, but they are all good. A while ago, VeggieTales announced that they would be coming to Netflix with an original series, VeggieTales in the House. The girls and love this show and I cannot tell you how many times we have watched the entire season. Well, today is the day that Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, and all your favorite Veggies arrive in the all-new second season of DreamWorks Animation’s original series, VEGGIETALES IN THE HOUSE available now exclusively on Netflix.
One of my family’s favorite channels is Cartoon Network. With cartoons like Adventure Time, Teen Titans Go, Regular Show, and Clarence – we are able to sit down as a family and laugh. I love that some jokes are subtle enough that my 2.5 year old can watch it and not know why mommy and daddy are laughing so hard. There are also jokes that my girls get of course, and we are totally fine with it. We have many Cartoon Network shows set to record and our family time consists of watching one or two each night. Clarence has been a front runner for us since it came out – we are all huge fans! My 4 year old loves Jeff – one of Clarence’s friends. This show is definitely fun for the whole family so when we got a copy of Clarence: Dust Bunnies, we were thrilled! My girls were so excited to add this to their “car DVD holder” and my husband and I were happy to have a new DVD to listen to as we drive. This DVD features some of our favorite episodes – definitely check out Lizard Day Afternoon and Jeff Wins. We love this show so much that we have discussed going as the characters for Halloween. I highly recommend this show if you want something you can enjoy along with your kids.
My husband and I are both huge fans of The Muppets – I mean, who isn’t? We have all of the movies and our girls have been watching them since they were born. When we heard the news that a NEW Muppets show was coming to ABC, we both may have freaked out a little bit. My freak out definitely involved dancing around the living room. Then, when I went to the D23 Expo last month, I was lucky enough to attend The Muppets panel. It was the first panel the weekend and really set the bar high. It was hilarious! I was so excited to see all the familiar voices up there on stage – and to have some of my favorite Muppets make an appearance was an experience that I will never forget.

I have loved everything Disney ever since I was a little girl. For me, the magic never ended. This October I am heading to Disney World for the 15th time and I cannot wait. My husband says that the second we cross under that arch, I turn into a 5 year old again. My eyes tear up and I have the biggest smile on my face. I have no problem waiting in line for hours to meet my favorite characters and I love chatting with them. It truly is the most magical place on Earth for me and I am counting the days (71!!) to take my daughters for their second time. However, I have always wanted to go to Disneyland – to see where Walt walked, to see where it all started – it has just never been in the cards for me. Until now.
