My girls are HUGE Cars fans. We have seen the first two films more times than I can count. My whole family is really excited for Cars 3 and are counting the days until June 16th! It comes out right before my oldest daughter’s 6th birthday so we plan to take her and a couple friends to see it. We have been watching the teasers and the new trailer for it over and over and getting excited. Whenever we go to Disney World, we always have to visit Lightning McQueen and Mater! If we don’t we would never hear the end of it from the girls!

May is here, which means it’s time to “saddle up” for the premiere of DreamWorks Animation’s newest original series Spirit Riding Free, available exclusively on Netflix on Friday, May 5. The series, inspired by the Oscar®-nominated film Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, follows the heartfelt journey of a gutsy 12-year-old girl named Lucky who befriends a wild mustang whom she aptly names Spirit.
DisneyNature movies are some of my favorite movies to cuddle up with my daughters and watch. They love them because they are filled with adorable animals, and I love them because – well, basically the same reason. I am always impressed by how much my girls learn about nature and animals when we watch them. Yes, there are usually some rough parts to get through, but they understand the circle of life very well for a 4 and 5 year old – in part due to films like these.
Yesterday myself and some other pretty amazing bloggers had a Rogue One Viewing Party over on Twitter! We gave away some great prizes and had a blast doing it – all thanks to Disney and Roku! We were given a digital code for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and a Roku stick to watch it on – as well as some other amazing Star Wars goodies. I had seen the movie in theaters, but it is a great film and I had been dying to watch it again. I even made some cupcakes to enjoy while watching it! I hope you joined us – it was a blast!

My daughters love the Care Bears, and so do I. I grew up watching them – it was always one of my favorite shows when I was a little girl. So, of course, I have loved sharing this love with my young daughters. They find it so funny that their mommy watched the Care Bears when she was their age.
My girls love The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That – it is one of their favorite educational shows. My husband and I love it too because they really do learn from it. I am blown away at times with what they tell us after watching a couple episodes. We all love space so we were super excited to get The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Space! We popped it in right away and we all enjoyed watching it (I even learned a thing or two). This series is great for young kids and parents alike.

Rock Dog hits theaters a little later this month, February 24th. My husband and I take our daughters to the movies at least once a month, so we love when family friendly movies are out. This one stood out to us because it centers around a wide-eyed Tibetan Mastiff dog named Bodi – and we have two dogs of our own. We have a pug named Khaleesi and a puggle named Sansa and they are part of our family. I cannot imagine a house without a dog or two. I always had a dog growing up and I am excited that my girls will know that companionship as the grow older as well.

I am dying to take my family to see SING! Ever since we saw the trailer in the theater, my young girls have been begging to go see it. We always like to take advantage of school time off by going to see a movie, and this year, it will be SING for sure! This movie not only looks hilarious, and has a stellar cast (meet them all here!), it looks like it will be touching, heartwarming, and will have a good moral as well.
