The Morbius teaser trailer is finally here and it is more than I ever could have imagined. Check out my breakdown and why you should be hyped.

    morbius trailer breakdown

Morbius is a really cool Marvel comic book character. Don’t worry, if you don’t know a lot about him, I will have an article coming soon with some Morbius comic book suggestions. But let me give you a brief overview. He is a doctor who has a rare blood disease. He tries to cure it in some unconventional ways and in doing so, he becomes a pseudo-vampire.

Now what exactly does that mean? Well, he has some of the perks of being a vampire without all of the cons. If that makes sense. He is insanely strong and powerful — but his victims just die, they don’t become vampires themselves.

Anyways, Jared Leto is playing him in the new Sony movie Morbius, and we just got the teaser trailer for it. To say I flipped out at the reveal of his face is an understatement. Seriously, if you are watching my reaction turn it down toward the end because I get LOUD.

    My Morbius Trailer Reaction

Let me just say that I was really excited to see Jared Leto as a part of this project. I knew he could excel at the character of Michael Morbius, and he did not disappoint in this trailer. The big reveal at the end where we see his face as Morbius – WOW. Amazing. Pure perfection. It looks PERFECT and I am so here for it.

And then… then we get the kicker. A familiar voice. Yup, I am talking about Michael Keaton, AKA The Vulture in this universe. I was HYPED to see him show up. I totally knew we were gong to get a Sinister Six, it was basically confirmed. But this… this is the start of it. EEK!

My first time through, I tried to pay attention to everything, but of course, things are missed. So after watching it through several more times, I need to point something out. This poster.

    spider-man murderer poster morbius trailer

A poster of Spider-Man, with the world “MURDERER” written across it. As we saw at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Peter Parker got in some hot water. Mysterio put the blame on him for a LOT of murders. And I can’t believe people fell for it. This poster is a big deal because it CONFIRMS that Morbius is part of the MCU.
