GLOBAL ACT JO1 DROPPED PRE-RELEASE SINGLE “WHATCHA DOIN” ON JULY 24 — FIRST TRACK FROM FULL‑ENGLISH EP “ANIMAL”.

International stars JO1 released the pre-release single “WHATCHA DOIN” from their first full EP, ANIMAL, today on all streaming platforms. The music video will follow, releasing on Thursday, July 30 at 9:00 PM PST.
“WHATCHA DOIN” is an uptempo song with a light, rhythmic groove that is hard to sit still through. The hook, “What you doin’?”, runs through the track as a nudge to get up and move, and it carries the momentum of a group stepping onto the world stage.
The six-track EP ANIMAL, produced by world-renowned, multiple Grammy-winning producer and songwriter Dem Jointz, will feature all-English songs and is set for release on October 2. It will arrive on the opening night of the 2026 JO1 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR “ANIMAL.”
Dem Jointz said, “It’s like an 18-minute roller coaster, full of adventure, energy, celebration, growth, and human connection.”
There is plenty more to come from ANIMAL. Additional advance tracks, videos, and other content will roll out in the weeks ahead as JO1 introduces their sound to U.S. audiences and begins an exciting new chapter.
