At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, ENHYPEN members Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki took the stage to discuss Dark Moon, the multimedia vampire universe inspired by the group’s lore and music. Joined by the panel’s moderator, the six members reflected on bringing their supernatural counterparts to life, the themes behind the Dark Moon story, and how the vampire mythology has become intertwined with ENHYPEN’s own artistic identity.

During the conversation, the members answered questions about their favorite superpowers, life on tour, the bond they’ve built over nearly seven years together, and the upcoming music and Dark Moon projects. They also shared behind-the-scenes stories from filming, explained the appeal of the vampire concept, and talked about the connection they hope fans feel through both their performances and the Dark Moon universe.

Q: Since the Dark Moon webtoon reflects your personalities, how does it feel seeing yourselves represented through those characters?

Jungwon: Since the webtoon and the Dark Moon series reflect our personalities and identities, when we watch the story it actually feels like the characters are more like us than we are ourselves.

Q: If you could have any superpower besides your character’s ability in Dark Moon, what would you choose?

Jake: Time travel.

Jay Park: The ability to stop time, because you could accomplish so much.

Sunghoon: Super speed.

Ni-ki: Time manipulation.

Jungwon: Super strength.

Sunoo: A power that attracts all ENGENEs.

Q: What can fans look forward to next?

Jay: We’re currently in the middle of our U.S. tour as part of our world tour. Our eighth mini album is coming out very soon, and it includes a lot of new vampire-related concepts. We’ve prepared a lot for it, and we think it could become one of our greatest releases. We hope everyone enjoys it.

Q: Fans say your concerts feel very personal and that it feels like they’re spending time with friends. How does it feel hearing that?

Jake: We’re really happy to hear that because connection has always been one of our biggest goals. From the beginning, we’ve wanted to connect people around the world through music. If fans feel that connection during our concerts, then we’ve accomplished what we set out to do. Hearing that means a lot to us.

Q: You spend so much time together touring, filming, traveling, and living together. What helps you stay close?

Jake: Each of us knows we wouldn’t be able to do any of this alone. Even though our schedule is incredibly busy, everything feels easier when we’re together. Our bond is probably the most important thing we have.

Q: The Dark Moon concept explores vampires as outsiders. Have you ever related to that feeling?

Jake: Through Dark Moon, we’re able to portray vampires through music and storytelling in a new way. Being able to share that world with fans has been a really meaningful experience, and we’re thankful everyone has embraced it.

Q: What was it like filming the Dark Moon content?

Jake: In the music videos we get to showcase each member’s unique vampire abilities. Because everyone already understands vampire mythology, we don’t have to explain every power. It lets us tell the story visually.

Our latest album tells the story of vampires being chased by the world. Even though the characters are being hunted, there’s also excitement because they know how powerful they are and believe they won’t be caught. The album explores that balance between fear and confidence, and you can really follow that storyline through the music.

Q: For people who haven’t read Dark Moon, how would you describe the story?

Jake: It’s about seven boys whose memories have been erased. They come together, form a brotherhood, and go on a huge adventure. They don’t know what they’re going to face, but they have each other. Before becoming vampires, they were knights protecting Princess Selene. After becoming vampires, they become brothers connected by blood, and that’s where the main story begins.

Q: What was your favorite filming location for a music video?

Jake: Poland. We filmed at an old castle there, and the scenery was amazing. We had a great time filming there, so I’d definitely choose Poland.
