Togo is a new Disney+ movie that will have you hugging your furry friends a little bit tighter. Filled with adventure and suspense, you can’t help but fall in love! Togo also has many dog lover quotes that will really stick with you.

If you haven’t yet read my review of Togo, be sure to check that out so you can be convinced to watch this amazing movie. Every dog lover needs to see it because it focuses on the unbreakable bond between man and dog.
One of my favorite parts about this movie was how many quotes had me thinking about my dogs. And as a dog lover (and owner), there were many that tugged at my heart strings. Just try not to tear up when you read some of them. I dare you.

10 Dog Lover Quotes from Togo
Now I am keeping these quotes as spoiler free as I can, but keep in mind Togo hits Disney+ on December 20th. So if you want to remain completely in the dark about this movie (although it is based on a true, untold story), maybe bookmark this page for another day.
“When an animal denies his nature and runs for the barn because he fears the storm, man better fear the storm.”
“You’re more attached to him than you know.”
“You’re not prepared for what it’s going to do to you, I promise you.”
“I am just so heartsick that these are my last hours with him.”
“He’s more trouble than he’s worth.”
“I tried to give him away — twice.”
“You had him to yourself long enough.”
“I always thought he lived for the sled. What he lived for, was me.”
“If you’re around them long enough, they tend to get under your skin.”
“If you were lucky enough to know a great one, they never really leave. They stay with you as long as you live. Harnessed to your heart, giving their all.”
Some of these quotes are of course for those that love their dogs, but maybe didn’t always. Like I said above, there is an unbreakable bond between man and dog — even if that man fights it.
