AMPERS&ONE brought insane energy, flawless choreography, and aisle interactions to a packed Palace Theater in Los Angeles during their Born To Define tour.
After recently interviewing AMPERS&ONE about their highly anticipated Born To Define tour, I found myself anxiously awaiting the moment I would finally get to see their full set performed live. I had previously caught them opening for P1Harmony, and while that teaser was only a brief three songs, it was more than enough to convince me that these guys possessed serious star power. To say that their headline show at the Palace Theater in Los Angeles was everything I had been anticipating would be a massive understatement. They absolutely nailed it from the very first beat.
The group – consisting of Kamden, Brian, Jiho, Siyun, Mackiah, Kyrell, and Seungmo – proved early in the night that they are seasoned performers ready for the global stage. They aren’t rookies anymore, that is for sure. Not only was their collective energy completely off the charts, but the LA crowd matched them note for note. The atmosphere inside the historic Palace Theater was utterly infectious. I completely lost myself in the music, unable to help but dance, sing along, and, of course, let out a few breathless screams as the night progressed.
It is clear that these seven guys put a monumental amount of work into their choreography. Throughout the entire two-hour set, they never missed a single beat, executing sharp, synchronized movements while maintaining flawless live vocals.
But what really sets AMPERS&ONE apart is their genuine connection with their fandom. When it came time to interact with the audience, they proved just how deeply they love their ANDEARS. Happily, the love is entirely mutual. I have rarely seen a crowd this dedicated. The venue was a sea of passionate fans who knew every single word to every single song on the extensive setlist, from heavy hitters like “GOD” and “What You Talking About” to B-sides like “Slide” and “Whip It.”
The members also made sure to let their individual personalities shine through between songs. In particular, Mackiah was a total standout, constantly joking around on stage and keeping the audience in stitches. At one point, he hilariously pretended to be the live translator while she was speaking, which had the entire crowd erupting in laughter. To top off his comedic charm, he also threw in the iconic 6-7 move, much to the delight of everyone watching.
As a massive Swiftie, the unit performances were a major highlight of the night for me, and I think we can all agree on which one stole my heart. It is notoriously difficult to pull off a Taylor Swift cover and do it justice, but Kyrell and Brian absolutely crushed their rendition of “Love Story.”
The other unit stages were equally spectacular, showcasing the group’s diverse flavors. Jiho and Kamden brought intense charisma with a cover of ENHYPEN’s “FEVER.”
Siyun, Mackiah, and Seungmo teamed up for a high-energy performance of One Direction’s “Drag Me Down.”
One of the absolute best parts of the show happened toward the end of the main set. Towards the end of the high-energy show, the members took things to the next level and actually left the stage and went right out into the audience. They ran up and down the theater aisles, singing directly to fans and interacting up close, giving the LA ANDEARS an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime night.
By the time they hit the encore tracks – delivering explosive performances of “All Eyes on You,” “On and On,” “I Know You,” and finishing with the aptly named “Crazy Stupid Fun” – the energy in the room had reached a fever pitch.

This was a night that I will never forget. With the unwavering support of their passionate fans, alongside their own undeniable charm and raw talent, AMPERS&ONE is certainly going places. They did not need any pyrotechnics, visual effects, or even screens to bring down the house. This was just them, on stage, performing their hearts out.
Soak it all in now, ANDEARS, because I have a strong feeling that the next time you see these guys perform in Los Angeles, they will be playing sold-out arenas, and we will all be fiercely fighting the great ticket wars just to get a glimpse of them.
