Dr. STONE Cast Reveals Why Fans Have Connected With the Series for Years

The cast of Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE discusses science, hope, family viewing, and what they’ll miss most about the series.

After years of scientific discoveries, epic adventures, and unforgettable characters, Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE is bringing one of anime’s most beloved modern stories closer to its conclusion. Since debuting in 2019, the series has earned a devoted following thanks to its unique blend of real science, humor, heart, and larger-than-life storytelling.

At the center of the series is Senku Ishigami, a scientific genius determined to rebuild civilization after humanity is mysteriously petrified. Alongside the Kingdom of Science, Senku has spent years overcoming impossible odds, proving that intelligence, teamwork, and perseverance can be just as powerful as brute strength.

Mama’s Geeky recently spoke with Aaron Dismuke (Senku), Felecia Angelle (Kohaku), and Brandon McInnis (Gen) about the series’ lasting popularity, the lessons they’ve learned from the show, and what they’ll miss most about these beloved characters.

Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE English Voice Cast Interview

Mama’s Geeky: What will you miss most about your character?

Aaron Dismuke: I think I’m going to miss Senku’s bluntness and his sense of humor. He’s not good at the emotional stuff, so he’s just honest.

Brandon McInnis: I’m going to miss Gen’s whimsy and his steadfastness in the face of difficulty. He’ll complain, Olympic-level complaints, but he’s still going to do the thing.

Felecia Angelle: I am always so impressed by Kohaku’s strength and her strength of heart.

Mama’s Geeky: Why do you think fans have connected with Dr. STONE for so long?

Aaron Dismuke: The message of the show is hope, and how we can make the world a better place by working together.
