The My Spy Official Trailer Dropped This Morning & It Looks Hilarious!

I am going to be totally honest here, I have been waiting for more information on My Spy for a while now. Dave Bautista has been sharing some photos and stories about it on his Instagram and it really peaked my interest. So when I saw that the trailer dropped this morning, I was so excited to do a reaction to it! Dave Bautista is the nicest human ever, and I have been lucky enough to chat with him a few times (once on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2).

My Reaction

You guys, My Spy looks REALLY cute! This trailer shows just how funny it is too – and I am here for it! I mean, I always thought it would be a cute movie but man, this looks super funny too! What a cast! I am definitely looking forward to taking my girls to see it. One of my favorite parts in the trailer is when he turns her head forward as they are walking away from the explosion. As The Lonely Island says, cool guys don’t look at explosions. And now I am going to go watch that music video because it is awesome. In fact, maybe I will drop it right here for you to see too.

About My Spy

MY SPY follows JJ a hardened CIA operative (Dave Bautista) who has been demoted and finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, named Sophie (Chloe Coleman) where he has been sent undercover begrudgingly to surveil her family. When Sophie discovers hidden cameras in her apartment she uses her tech savviness to locate where the surveillance operation is set. In exchange for not blowing JJ’s cover Sophie convinces him to spend time with her and teach her to be a spy. Despite his reluctance JJ finds he is no match for Sophie’s disarming charm and wit.

The film is being directed by Peter Segal (“Get Smart”) from a script penned by Jon and Erich Hoeber (“Red”).

My Spy is Coming to Theaters Soon!
