My family likes to travel, especially in the summer. But traveling can be stressful. Here’s some tips to make your vacation less stressful!
We are a family that loves to travel. Lucky for us, my husband has Mondays off, so when we can take the girls out of school, we do. We love going on three day adventures. From Canada, to Pennsylvania, to Massachusetts, we try love adventure. If it is within driving distance, we will plan a trip there. Now I want to share some tips I have learned to help you become a master at weekend getaways too!

Where ever you are going, I know you want to keep your kids safe on the journey. All parents do. Diono is a brand that you can trust. I should know, I have been using them for years. Travel Trays are literally the coolest thing for traveling kids that I have seen in a while! Simply put them in the cup holder and you are done with set up. My girls love having these because they can use them to play or eat during long trips. My husband and I love them because they keep the food and toys on the tray, and not strewn about the car. Talk about an easy clean-up.

When I am traveling with my family or for a press event, I am always using my phone. Taking photos and video, recording audio, and of course staying current on social media. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone! My grandson is coming home on leave for the fourth and my daughter’s village is having a huge block party for the fourth, with fireworks, music, good food, the fire department and truck so the kids can climb on it and learn from it. Plus water from the fire hose, horse shoes, volleyball, etc. We have had the best time there! I’m glad they decided to do this again! So my heart is racing all the way around! I feel so blessed! I hope everyone feels the same way!!
July Is full of birthdays in our family. July 3rd I’d my baby brother’s birthday. He will be 57 years old. I feel so old! Time sure does fly! So Happy Fourth of July everyone and stay safe!! Don’t become a statistic!
