Beauty and the Beast has always been one of my favorite Disney movies – if not my favorite. I grew up watching it over and over. Belle was my favorite princess when I was younger, likely because I could always be found with my nose in a book too. Because of my love for this film, my daughters love it too. We have watched it many times and so naturally we were very excited to hear that Disney was making a Beauty and the Beast Live Action film.

We are a Disney family and a gaming family. So needless to say, we were super excited to discover a printable race course game that Disney created for the promotion of Cars 3! I printed it out immediately and my daughters and I had so much fun with it! We also really like the build your own race course because it gets the kids out of the house and doing some exercise. Cars 3 hits theaters in mid-June, and we cannot wait for it!
One of my favorite things to do to pass the time is gaming.We have just about every video game system out there – even a few tablets that are dedicated to mobile gaming. My daughters are only 4 and 5 but we play a lot of games on there together. They have even started being able to play some games by themselves. One of our new favorites is Poptropica Worlds, and I think all families will love it!
As a mom of two young kids, one thing I am very concerned about is tobacco and cigarettes. They see them everywhere and my husband and I have been trying to teach them about how unhealthy they are. Yes, we even sometimes over exaggerate with words like “ew” and “gross” when we are near someone smoking, but it seems to be helping. I was very pleased to hear about the Seen Enough Tobacco Campaign that Tobacco Free New York has launched because kids really have seen enough.

My daughters are 4 and 5 years old, so you know they are My Little Pony fans. We have just about everypony available in multiple toy form. I am talking stuffed animals, mini-ponies, medium ponies, large ponies – not to mention all the clothes and accessories we have featuring these friends. Don’t get me wrong though, I love them just as much as my daughters do. In fact, we just added a My Little Comic Book to our pull list…so that we can read it with our daughters of course – not for my husband and myself to read…maybe.
My husband loves the original Newsies movie. So when we found out about Disney’s Newsies The Musical coming to Disney Movies Anywhere, we knew it was something we wanted to see. We were super thankful to be sent, not only a digital copy of the movie, but a family movie night kit to throw a great Newsies viewing party! It was a total blast watching the movie and celebrating in true Newsies fashion. I never dreamed my 4 and 5 year old would enjoy it as much as they did but they just loved the music!
