DisneyNature movies are some of my favorite movies to cuddle up with my daughters and watch. They love them because they are filled with adorable animals, and I love them because – well, basically the same reason. I am always impressed by how much my girls learn about nature and animals when we watch them. Yes, there are usually some rough parts to get through, but they understand the circle of life very well for a 4 and 5 year old – in part due to films like these.

My girls and I love watching movies together. In fact, once a week we have family movie night. We rotate who gets to choose the movie between the girls, myself, and my husband. Recently, we got an advance copy of Arctic Adventure on Frozen Pond and so of course, my youngest picked it for that week’s movie night. Now, I admit, sometimes kid’s movies are not at all entertaining for my husband and myself – but we grin and bear it for our daughters. This movie had both of us pleasantly surprised. It was actually really cute and fun. What a great film for the entire family to enjoy!

I cannot believe that A League of Their Own came out 25 years ago. I remember watching it over and over when I was younger. My mother and I watched it together a few times. She always told me that it was important for me to watch it because I would know to be myself and fight for what is right. And that is the same reason I plan to watch it with my daughters as they get older.

I am so excited to let you all know that I will be heading to Los Angeles from Tuesday, April 18th – Friday, April 21st for another amazing press trip! This one is filled with Marvel, Disney, Disney Nature, and ABC events! Myself and 24 other bloggers will be bringing you exclusive photos, interviews, and more while there so be sure to follow along. Trust me, you don’t want to miss any of this! We will be posting on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and more

This morning one of the best teaser trailers in Marvel history was released – Thor: Ragnarok. I have been dying to see what Thor and Hulk have been up to and why they were just too busy to participate in the Civil War. I have been reading Marvel Comics for a longtime and I am so curious to see how close their story line is to the comics – or if it is at all. This teaser trailer was everything I could have hoped for, and more.

So, I have yet to make it to the theater with my daughters to see the new live action Beauty and the Beast. I know, I know, please don’t kill me. We tried! We live in a tiny little city and our small theater was sold out the first two weekends (I really should have planned in advance but showings NEVER sell out there), and then my daughter was sick. Life has been happening and I cry a little bit each day that goes by without having seen it. Well, all that is about to change because the Sing-Along version hits theaters this weekend and I am determined to see it – even if I need to drive over an hour to a bigger theater!

My girls love everything about space! They have turned into total space nerds after our trip to the Planetarium a few years back. So when the new DVD, Floogals, arrived at our door and they noticed the characters were in rocket ships, they were thrilled! They asked if we could put the disk in right away – and we did. Within minutes they fell in love with the Floogals – and my husband and I enjoyed watching along with them as well!

Chris Evans is one of my favorite actors – and I was lucky enough to interview him once. So when I first saw the trailer for Gifted, I was really excited about it because he stars in it. However, after watching the trailer a second time, I was really into the story. I think this is going to be an incredible movie. I can tell that it is going to bring out the feels though. Both of my daughters are pretty smart (not as smart as the girl in this movie, but they blow me away each and every day). This is a movie that my husband and I are planning to go see in theaters when it comes out April 7th. Our 5 year old has seen the trailer and has asked if she can see it as well. She was really interested in the smart little girl in the movie.

Yesterday myself and some other pretty amazing bloggers had a Rogue One Viewing Party over on Twitter! We gave away some great prizes and had a blast doing it – all thanks to Disney and Roku! We were given a digital code for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and a Roku stick to watch it on – as well as some other amazing Star Wars goodies. I had seen the movie in theaters, but it is a great film and I had been dying to watch it again. I even made some cupcakes to enjoy while watching it! I hope you joined us – it was a blast!

My daughters are very excited for the new Smurfs movie! They love those little blue guys – and OK, my husband and I do too! We grew up watching them and couldn’t be any more excited about the fact that our girls get to as well! I, personally, am so happy they are still around – and with new content coming out. In order to celebrate Smurfs: The Lost Village, we put together some fun cupcakes – and I am going to tell you exactly how you can make them too!
