This morning one of the best teaser trailers in Marvel history was released – Thor: Ragnarok. I have been dying to see what Thor and Hulk have been up to and why they were just too busy to participate in the Civil War. I have been reading Marvel Comics for a longtime and I am so curious to see how close their story line is to the comics – or if it is at all. This teaser trailer was everything I could have hoped for, and more.
I LOVE Taika Waititi. What We Do In The Shadows is one of my favorite movies ever (and you must go see it now if you haven’t already) so I just knew he was going to do a great directing Ragnarok. If what we have seen in this just-less-than-two-minute teaser is any inkling of what is to come, we are all in for a treat. This movie is going to be hilarious and bad-ass all at the same time. I think it will remain true to the characters, while showing us a lighter side – and a darker side – to them. To say I am bouncing up and down with excitement is an understatement. This movie is going to be a must see for any Marvel fan.
About Thor: Ragnarok
In Marvel Studios’ THOR: RAGNAROK, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk! THOR: RAGNAROK is directed by Taika Waititi and returns Chris Hemsworth starring as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
