Today Netflix revealed a plethora of details for upcoming series, films, and games. Here are the ten most exciting Next On Netflix announcements.

Earlier this week I was lucky enough to be invited to get a sneak peek at many upcoming Netflix series, films, and games. While several clips were for those in the room only, the streaming service has shared most of what we learned (and more!) with fans around the world today.
As someone who loves movies, television, and gaming, I can honestly say that I am excited in one way or another for everything that Netflix announced. That said, here are the ten that I am most thrilled about (in no particular order).
You’re Not Ready for What’s Next: Netflix Reveals Upcoming Series, Films and Games for 2025
“No matter what you’re looking forward to this year, there’s no way to be completely ready for what’s next on Netflix,” said Bela Bajaria, Netflix Chief Content Officer, at the company’s annual showcase of films, series and games coming in 2025.
As Bajaria said, “With more than 700 million people watching, we can’t just be one thing. We need to be the best version of everything” from TV series and films to games. Sharing highlights from the upcoming slate, she predicted that 2025 could be Netflix’s biggest year ever.
Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein

New Films like Frankenstein from Academy Award®-winning filmmaker, Guillermo del Toro — a project he’s been wanting to make for 50 years. “Over the decades, the character has fused with my soul in a way that it has become autobiography. It doesn’t get more personal than this,” said Guillermo del Toro in a video message.
The footage looks amazing. Jacob Elordi is nearly unrecognizable as Frankenstein’s monster and Oscar Isaac appears truly unhinged.
Stranger Things Season 5

Ross Duffer on Stranger Things Season 5, “We spent a full year filming this season. By the end, we’d captured over 650 hours of footage. So, needless to say, this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It’s like eight blockbuster movies. It’s pretty insane.”
Squid Game Season 3

The final season of Squid Game is coming June 27th. We were shown a sneak peek of the season that hints at what happens after that massive cliffhanger from the end of season two. However, my lips are sealed because I do not want to upset The Front Man.
RIP Starring Ben Affleck & Matt Damon

RIP, a crime thriller starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Affleck called the film “a really fun, engaging ride that keeps you guessing.”
“It’s the seventh movie that Matt Damon and my company, Artists Equity, has made and it really is, in a lot of ways, the most important for us because we’ve found some really exciting partners who are really interested in not just what has been but what could be at Netflix. And Bela and Ted and Dan have been spectacular — I want to thank them. This is exactly the kind of film that we want to champion.”
Tina Fey’s The Four Seasons

Tina Fey’s The Four Seasons is adapted from the 1981 film written by Alan Alda. Fey said they were to “assemble a cast of beloved comedy actors that could create the same warm, human vibe of the original,” she said. Steve Carell, Will Forte, Tina Fey, Kerri Kinney-Silver, the beautiful Italian actor Marco Calvani, Broadway’s Erika Henningsen and Academy Award nominee Colman Domingo star.
Wake Up Dead

Benoit Blanc returns for his most dangerous case yet in Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery coming to Netflix Fall 2025.
Happy Gilmore 2

Happy Gilmore returns! Here’s your first look at Adam Sandler back on the green (and introducing Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio as his caddie) in Happy Gilmore 2. Coming to Netflix 2025.
Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney

Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney, a new weekly one-of-a-kind late-night show, will premiere LIVE on March 12. “We will be live globally with no delay. We will never be relevant. We will never be your source for news. We will always be reckless,” Mulaney said.
YOU Season 5

In the epic fifth and final season, Joe Goldberg returns to New York to enjoy his happily ever after… until his perfect life is threatened by the ghosts of his past and his own dark desires. All episodes coming to Netflix April 2, 2025.

Judy Blume’s groundbreaking novel reimagined for a new generation. Forever is an epic love story of two Black teens exploring romance and identity through the awkward journey of being each other’s firsts, set in Los Angeles, 2018. Coming to Netflix 2025.
