I have been reading Marvel comic books for as long as I can remember. One of my favorites has always been Marvel’s Inhumans. I tend to really like the people from other planets, hence why Guardians of the Galaxy is also another one of my favorite teams. Something about Black Bolt though, has always intrigued me. The fact that by just muttering a word, he can destroy so much, is pretty brilliant.
When I first heard that Marvel was going to do something with the Inhumans, I was thrilled. Then we were told the movie was being put on the back burner. All of a sudden, an Inhumans show on ABC was being talked about and I was beyond excited. Medusa and Black Bolt are one of my favorite comic book couples and I cannot wait to see what happens with them. I have been patiently waiting for a premiere date and now we have it!
Premiere Date on ABC
The highly anticipated new Marvel television series “Marvel’s Inhumans” will bring the fan-favorite comic book series and a new kind of family drama to the small screen this fall on ABC. The network series premiere, including the first two episodes of “Marvel’s Inhumans,” will air FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The ABC Television Network.
The legendary comic book series will be brought to life in a way that has never been done before, as a version of the first two episodes will be shown globally in IMAX theaters for a two-week period, beginning September 1, 2017. ABC will then air the entirety of the series throughout this fall on the network, with additional exclusive content that can only been seen on ABC. You better bet my husband and I will be making the drive to Syracuse to see this in theaters in September! I have already added it to our calendar so that there is no way we can forget about it.

“Marvel’s Inhumans” explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them. “Marvel’s Inhumans” stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Ken Leung as Karnak, Ellen Woglom as an undisclosed character, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Mike Moh as Triton. The series is executive produced by Scott Buck, along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reiné directed the first two episodes. This series is a Marvel and IMAX project and is co-produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.
