Alan Menken is back scoring a feature-length animated film & it brings a smile to my face. #Spellbound is a fun fantasy adventure, & the family dynamic hits differently compared to other animated fantasy films. However, the 3rd act does feel contrived with character motivations. pic.twitter.com/WptijyRKfn

Spellbound is cute stuff. Solid songs and a good message. Nothing amazing, to be fair, but a nice throwback to the sort of animated film I grew up on. Alan Menken for the win.#Spellbound pic.twitter.com/qhhaWxiWMO
