Venom: Let There Be Carnage is the follow up film to Venom starring Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Woody Harrelson as Cletus Kasady, and it doubles down on everything fans of the first one love. This movie is bananas crazy, silly, hilarious, weird, and full of amazing visual effects. It also has a mid credit scene that will have you screaming and jumping around in your theater.
Audiences will be SHOCKED with what they see, and some will likely have questions too. Warning, if you choose to read on, there are spoilers for the Venom: Let There Be Carnage mid credit scene.

Warning: Spoilers Ahead for Venom: Let There Be Carnage Mid Credit Scene.
After a few credits played to a great song, the Venom: Let There Be Carnage mid credit scene pops up (FYI, there is NO post credit scene). Eddie Brock is in a dirty and run down room. It could be a hotel room, or a room they are renting. It is a beach house for sure as you can see the water out the sliding door. He is watching TV and talking with Venom about the fact that they symbiotic hive mind is extremely powerful and sees all.
Venom tells Eddie that he will give him just a glimpse into what the hive mind sees and knows, stating that he will be unable to handle the full thing. This is to help make their relationship even stronger of course, now that they are getting along again.
As he lets him in, things around them start changing and flashing. Venom has seemingly transported them elsewhere. The room is now much nicer, like a resort or bungalo. There is a towel animal, that of course there is a joke surrounding, and a news report on the TV.
Who is talking? Why J. Jonah Jameson of course. The very same news report from the Spider-Man: Far From Home post credit scene is playing where Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is outed as Spider-Man. Venom takes a look at the TV, and a close up of Tom Holland, full on licks the screen and says “Mmmm… that guy….”
Due to the fact that Venom can sometimes be hard to understand, there is some debate about what, if anything, he says next. Some people think here is a tasty in there, but I think it was just some incoherent muttering.
A guy walks out of the bathroom and asks them how he got in his room, and it cuts to black.
But what does this all mean? Venom and Eddie have clearly been brought somewhere else. Sure, it could be in the same dimension but it is more likely that they are now in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is a whole new part of the multiverse from where they were before.
The multiverse has been opened up in Loki, Marvel’s What If…?, and now in Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Is it all of things combined that caused the rift or was Venom actually able to use his knowledge to move them to another time line and universe, probably unknowingly.
Does this mean fans will see Venom in Spider-Man: No Way Home or even Doctor Strange in the Multiverse Of Madness? Only time will tell for sure, but we are willing to bet on it.
