Carga From Director Yad Deen Short Film Review

Carga is a short film about a documentarian that takes an unexpected turn. It had my heart pounding for a solid 6 minutes!

I was immediately drawn into Carga. It is beautifully shot and the story intrigued me. I could tell that it was going to be suspenseful and it totally delivered! All of the actors involved had great performances and I believed each and every one of them in their roles. A thriller at heart, Carga is more than worth the watch.

About halfway through it took a turn that I did NOT see coming. If you have a weak stomach, be warned, it is pretty graphic. But me? I love the gorey stuff, so this was right up my alley. And honestly, it is just a small scene and you won’t miss much by turning away. Still worth the watch if you ask me!

For the last 6 minutes or so of the film, my heart was pounding. And I mean POUNDING. I didn’t know what was going to happen next, and I couldn’t wait to find out.

I refuse to give anything away but I urge you to take less than 20 minutes out of your life to watch this — you will not regret it.
