Last year, as part of a press trip, I was lucky enough to check out The Walt Disney Family Museum. It was so powerful for me as a Disney lover and I can’t even think about certain things I saw without tearing up. I can’t describe the feeling it felt. So if you are ever in San Francisco, I highly recommend swinging in and spending some time there. This Spring and Summer The Walt Disney Museum is adding some youth summer classes and a brand new exhibition that will make your trip even more worthwhile.

The most Miraculous adventures of Ladybug and Cat Noir continue! Paris’ favorite crime-fighting duo return in a new volume of the action-adventure, romantic comedy that will have you on the edge of your seat. The action-packed CGI animated TV series Miraculous™: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir: It’s Ladybug! will be available on DVD April 11, 2017, from Shout! Kids, in collaboration with ZAG. This release includes six amazing episodes on DVD and a Ladybug paper doll! My daughters are HUGE fans of the series and they were so excited to get an advance copy of this DVD. We watched it immediately and they loved every episode.
My girls love everything about space! They have turned into total space nerds after our trip to the Planetarium a few years back. So when the new DVD, Floogals, arrived at our door and they noticed the characters were in rocket ships, they were thrilled! They asked if we could put the disk in right away – and we did. Within minutes they fell in love with the Floogals – and my husband and I enjoyed watching along with them as well!
I am not a big makeup person in the sense that I do not do a full face of makeup everyday. But one thing that I do nearly every day is wear lipstick. I just feel like it makes my face pop and I enjoy wearing it. I learned about LipSense from a friend of mine, Kara, who happens to sell it. She told me that it lasts entire day – if not longer. I am constantly reapplying lipstick so this sounded like something that would save me lots of time. She sent me some to try out and boy, did it make a difference!
One of my daughters’ favorite thing to do on Saturday mornings is turn on Netflix and watch a couple of their favorite shows. They were thrilled see yesterday (4/1/17) that there was BRAND NEW DinoTrux to watch! Season 4 was released on Netflix on Friday, March 31st, and they could not wait to watch it all! They were bummed when it was time to turn the TV off and do some chores because they had “only watched 4 new episodes”. I think I know what they will be watching over the next few days!
If you are looking to fill your little one’s Easter Basket with fun and unique gifts this year, look no further! Sure, we all want to add candy to their baskets, and I have chosen some great stuff to include, but I always enjoy adding some toys and other items that will get longtime use! Here is a list of items that I know the Easter Bunny would be happy to hop in with at your house this year! If you have any suggestions yourself, feel free to leave a comment letting everyone know!
While on board our Disney Cruise this year, we joined the Disney Vacation Club. This is something that we have been going back and forth on for years! We went to Disney World on our honeymoon and chatted with the DVC people for over an hour. We almost joined then, but honestly the initial sticker price had us nervous. Now we wish we bought back then because the savings are unreal!
Many of you know that I have two young girls – ages 4 and 5. My oldest is in Kindergarten and my youngest will be starting Preschool in September. Over the last 4 years, I have stayed at home with them and during this time, we have worked a lot on lessons such as colors, shapes, letters, numbers, etc. My husband and I really wanted them to be prepared for school. We still work with them on a daily basis, so when I learned about TestingMom.com, I couldn’t have been any happier!
My family loves Snoopy and the Peanuts gang! To me, no holiday is complete without watching a Peanuts special. That is what I did every holiday growing up, and my daughters are quickly learning the tradition as well. I couldn’t be more proud of their love for all things Snoopy. Last Easter we celebrated with some Peanuts items in their Easter baskets and this year we will too.
Chris Evans is one of my favorite actors – and I was lucky enough to interview him once. So when I first saw the trailer for Gifted, I was really excited about it because he stars in it. However, after watching the trailer a second time, I was really into the story. I think this is going to be an incredible movie. I can tell that it is going to bring out the feels though. Both of my daughters are pretty smart (not as smart as the girl in this movie, but they blow me away each and every day). This is a movie that my husband and I are planning to go see in theaters when it comes out April 7th. Our 5 year old has seen the trailer and has asked if she can see it as well. She was really interested in the smart little girl in the movie.
