Bring the party home now that the hit animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie is available from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment! I took my daughters to go see this opening weekend with my husband and we all loved it! The Angry Birds Movie is based on the most downloaded app of all time (nearly 3.5 billion downloads). The film that catapulted to #1 at the box office in the U.S. and more than 50 others countries takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds – or almost entirely. In this paradise, hot-headed Red, speedy Chuck, and the volatile Bomb have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up in order to save their home. Boasting an “A” CinemaScore (viewers under age 25) and featuring even more of the breakout, fan-favorite Hatchlings, don’t miss the film that quickly became one of the highest-grossing video game based films of all time. Family Friendly Humor
My entire family loved this movie. There were some jokes that went totally over my young daughters’ heads (ages 3 and 5) but that my husband and I found ourselves laughing at so hard we had tears in our eyes. There was a lot of family friendly humor as well – and of course some fart jokes that had us all giggling. The Angry Birds Movie is a must see for families that like to laugh!
