SCHOOL BUS SAFETY SEMINAR
SCHEDULED FOR JULY 16TH AT THE ONCENTER
SYRACUSE, NY – The Central New York Chapter of the New York State Head Mechanics Association will be holding a morning seminar regarding School Bus Safety at The Oncenter Convention Center on Thursday, July 16th from 7am – 12pm. The association represents school districts in Central New York and expects attendance to exceed 650 mechanics, vendors and school transportation directors.
The 26th Annual Seminar will be attended by all of the major school bus manufacturers displaying the latest in Pupil Transportation safety equipment and buses. Attendance has risen sharply in the past few years; consequently the seminar has been moved to The Oncenter to accommodate the increasing crowd. The seminar will include four training sessions to bring mechanics up to speed on the latest safety regulations and guidelines.
The Central New York Chapter of the New York State Head Mechanics Association is committed to serving the Central New York Region. The group has supported numerous local groups including, but not limited to, the Ronald McDonald House, St. Joseph’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s College of Nursing, Clark Burn Center, Children’s Miracle Network, Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Golisano Children’s Hospital.
Jason Johnson, State President, will be on-site for the seminar and available on the main floor throughout the morning.
