    SMURFS THE LOST VILLAGE

Make it a family movie night with the beloved blue creatures in the fully animated, all-new take on The Smurfs when Sony Pictures Animation’s SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE debuts on 4K Ultra HD™/Blu-ray™ + Digital, Blu-ray + Digital and DVD July 11. I grew up watching the Smurfs and so did my husband – so this was a movie we knew we wanted to share with our daughters. We have really enjoyed the past Smurfs movies, and this one did not disappoint either.

We had planned to see this movie in theaters but unfortunately did not get the chance to. So naturally we were thrilled when an advance copy showed up on our doorstep (thanks Sony!). We were even more excited because my niece was visiting from out of state and she had not seen it either. We made it a Smurfs Movie Night and recreated the amazing Smurfs cupcakes I featured before. We all really enjoyed the movie – so much so that the kids watched it again the next day.

    Smurfs Cupcakes

Smurfs: The Lost Village is a great family film that is fun for all generations. It brings back lots of nostalgia and memories from when I was a child, but also brought a fresh and fun twist to the Smurfs. I highly recommend this for any family movie night!

    The Cast

SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE features an all-star voice cast: platinum-selling recording artist Demi Lovato as Smurfette, Emmy®-nominated comic actor Rainn Wilson as Gargamel, Joe Manganiello as Hefty Smurf, Jack McBrayer as Clumsy Smurf, Danny Pudi as Brainy Smurf, Michelle Rodriguez as SmurfStorm, Ellie Kemper as SmurfBlossom, Ariel Winter as SmurfLily, with Mandy Patinkin as Papa Smurf and Academy Award® winner Julia Roberts as SmurfWillow.
