The White Lotus Season 3 finale is here, and with it comes some truly shocking moments, blended with a few predictable ones.

The White Lotus Season 3 has been keeping me thoroughly entertained, thanks to some truly bonkers storylines. Of course, the final episode showcases the fact that several characters are in danger of dying, but it does not reveal the actual deaths until the final few minutes.
Warning: Major Spoilers For The White Lotus Season 3 Ahead!
Belinda Came Out Of The White Lotus Season 3 Better Off Than She Came In

I had a feeling that Belinda would not be the one to die in The White Lotus Season 3 because that would mean that Gary / Greg (whatever you want to call him) would be the bad guy again and that it would feel repetitive of the previous season. While I expected Belinda to accept some hush money, I had no idea that her son would negotiate that to be five million dollars. I would not be mad at her character returning to the series eventually, however I really like this ending for her.
The Friends Worked Through Their Issues

I also never thought that any of the three women from the friend group vacationing on the island were in any serious trouble. That said, I have really enjoyed watching their journey. Female friendships are hard. Especially long-lasting ones as people change and evolve (or devolve) over time. Carrie Coon’s monologue at their final dinner brought me to tears, and I am glad they all made it off the island alive.
The Ratliff Family Did Not Disappoint In The White Lotus Season 3 Finale

The Ratliff family has had me squirming the entire season. In The White Lotus Season 3 finale, Saxon and Lochlan finally discuss the events of the night that Saxon so clearly wants to forget. Lochlan chalks it all up to being a people pleaser, and some how, as twisted as it is, that made him relatable. I, too, am a people pleaser – although I would never ever go that far – and his confession brought some humanity to him and an explanation that we had all been waiting for.
After her stay with the monks, Piper realizes that she is more materialistic than she thought she was. All the talk about it sparks something in her father, Timothy, and he decides that the Ratliffs would be better off dead. All but Lochlan that is. He plans to poison their drinks, but at the last minute knocks them out of their hands, claiming the coconut milk has gone bad.
At this point, I saw from a mile away that Lochlan would end up drinking something from the blender that would cause him to be poisoned. I actually teared up as he was dying. I found it to be ironic that the one person in the family Timothy set out to save was the one who was not going to make it. I had no idea he would meet God (or whatever religious experience happened) and come back to life, but I am kind of glad he did.
The White Lotus Season 3 Finale Killed Five Characters

After the second-to-last episode I had a feeling that Walton Goggins’ Rick was done for. He threatened Jim Hollinger but then decided to let him live, and I knew that meant he was going to have a run-in with him in the finale. He was at the top of my list of possible murder victims going into The White Lotus Season 3 finale, but I did not add Chelsea to that list until she reunited with Rick.

The two of them talking about their future, finally being happy and free, meant that something tragic was going to happen. When she was shot later in the episode, I was not shocked. Honestly, I half expected Rick to live at that moment knowing it was all his fault. Instead, he was killed too – after learning the truth that Jim was his father (something I did not see coming).
While I did like this twist, I do not understand why Jim would not tell him. If not the first time they met, at least when he confronted him at the hotel. But then we wouldn’t have had any deaths, would we? So it was a necessary part of the plot.
