CinemaCon 2025 showcased many films, each of which I am excited about to a varying degree – but here are my 10 most anticipated movies.
10 Most Anticipated Movies Showcased At CinemaCon 2025
This list of my most anticipated upcoming films that were showcased at CinemaCon 2025 is in no particular order. These are simply the movies that I came out of the convention most excited to see, however, there are many others that I am absolutely going to be seated for, as well.
Now You See Me 3 – Now You See Me: Now You Don’t

I love the Now You See Me films and have been eagerly awaiting the third since it was announced. I think the title, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, is perfect. After getting a look at the movie and learning that the Four Horsemen are not exactly on the best terms, I am instantly intrigued. The new cast looks great as well.
Wicked: For good

To no one’s surprise, Wicked: For Good looks fantastic. As someone who is a bigger fan of the book than the musical, however, I am cautiously optimistic. I don’t love it when a dark ending is replaced by a happy one just to appease the masses.
The Running Man

I read The Running Man nearly 15 years ago. I then watched the 1980s movie, which I found to be a terrible adaptation. After seeing the CinemaCon footage of Edgar Wright’s version, I do not think I could be any more excited. It seems to be a lot more faithful to the book, and of course, Glen Powell and Coleman Domingo ooze charisma.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps
Anyone who knows me will not be surprised at all to learn that The Fantastic Four: First Steps is on this list. I am a massive Marvel fan. The first Marvel family deserves to finally get a good movie, and I think this could be it. Julia Garner looks amazing as Silver Surfer, and while we have not seen a lot of Galactus yet, what we have seen looks incredible.
Zootopia 2

I love the first Zootopia, so I am eagerly awaiting Zootopia 2. We did not see much, just two short clips, at CinemaCon, but that is all I needed to see. The humor hits, and Ke Huy Quan as a snake? Sign me up.
Project Hail Mary

Project Hail Mary was not on my radar at all, but after getting an extended look at CinemaCon, it has shot to the top of my most anticipated list. Ryan Gosling once again showcases what an incredible actor he is. This one is likely going to make me cry, and I am ok with that.
The Bride!

Exactly what I wanted from Joker and Harley Quinn in the Joker sequel, The Bride! looks to be made for me. It seems to be equal parts terrifying, artsy, and emotional. I cannot wait to see what is in store for me when it hits theaters.
Masters of the Universe
While we did not get much more than behind-the-scenes looks of Masters of the Universe, somehow, I came out of CinemaCon extremely excited about it. There were a lot of shots of costumes and concept art, as well as a look at the massive set. I think this is going to make fans very happy.
After The Hunt
If I am being honest, anything with Andrew Garfield in it is going to excite me. After The Hunt is sure to be a movie that keeps viewers guessing all the way through, as he plays a teacher who is accused of assaulting a teacher’s assistant. Did he or didn’t he? Only time will tell.
The Phoenician Scheme

I love anything that Wes Anderson puts out, so chances are I am going to adore The Phoenician Scheme. Just one glimpse at the trailer, and it is very clear who made this movie. The cast is stacked with his usual go-to actors, and I could not be any more thrilled.
