    Keto Cheddar Biscuits And Gravy Recipe

    This keto approved biscuits and gravy recipe is easy and delicious! Perfect for those on the keto and low carb diet.

    Biscuits and gravy is one of my favorite meals — but living the keto and low carb lifestyle means these are not approved for me. When I say I love this meal I mean I even eat it for dinner often. But then I found a recipe for cheddar biscuits, and a recipe for country style gravy, and put together, you get keto and low carb approved biscuits and gravy! 

    I did alter both recipes that I found to fit me personal preferences — the first go at it was too much garlic! So keep in mind that you can, of course, alter this recipe to fit your tastes.

    Keto Cheddar Biscuits Recipe

    What You Need:

    • 3 large egg whites
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1 cup coconut flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder
    • 2 tablespoons cold butter, diced
    • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

    Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    2. Whip egg whites until very stiff then gently mix in garlic.
    3. In separate bowl combine coconut flour, baking powder, and salt. 
    4. Cut in cold diced butter until they are pea size or smaller.
    5. Gently fold dry mixture into the egg whites. 
    6. Fold in the cheese. 
    7. Dollop dough onto a greased baking sheet, making 8 biscuits. 
    8. Bake for 11 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.

    Keto Country Style Gravy Recipe

    What You Need:

    • 10 oz. crumbled pork sausage
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup beef bone broth
    • salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1. Brown sausage over medium heat.
    2. Gradually add cream cheese and broth, stirring constantly, until it simmers, thickens, and becomes smooth.
    3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 minutes to thicken – stirring constantly. 
    4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Half biscuits and spoon country gravy on top to make a keto and low carb approved version of Biscuits and Gravy!
